It does suck I hope it is running faster in time for the next launch because I was like wtf and the display for the blushes are so small and then when you go on the side to look at all 48 colors you have to actually click every color smh

Eh? This is messed up. How the hell are we supposed to stalk now? RIP sitemap :crybaby: The sitemap situation aside, the new design is fugly and not at all user friendly. It also crashes Safari on my iPad. Not a fan.

I'm going to go with the belief that they didn't optimize the mobile version before launching, because it's really glitchy and hard to navigate, even if you know where you want to go. I didn't especially like the old layout, but it worked better on a mobile device.

Yeah it's slow as fuck on my phone and ipad. It sucks!

You know, I did finally see that on my phone but when I tried to touch it, it never responded. Then my page froze up and that never happens on my phone. :-\

Just tried out the new website on my phone... Fair dos, it's a pile of very slow

The new site does seem to work ok on my phone insofar as it goes - no crashes, reasonably fast. So there's that. Super love scrolling through 185 lipsticks to find the one I want. (Sarcasm? You don't say) Also, no sign of any LE triangles etc that I can see, so now you can't even tell what's perm & what's not. Awesome. Makes you wonder whether the bloggers they apparently trialled this on did anything more than admire the pretty pictures. Certainly if they tried to shop like a regular person, it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

Yeah even when I entered "Goodbyes" in the search box nothing came up. I also searched for Rihanna VG 1 lipstick (which is a Goodbye) and again nothing

I noticed that too. There were tons of past collection items that were still in stock prior to the launch of the new website that don't appear to be there anymore.

Well I reserved my opinion on the new site until it actually launched , and now I can say “ I really dislike it ”.

It is too busy, and all the white makes the site look cheap. The black layout from the previous site looked sleeker , more elegant

and at the same time edgy . No site map ??? Why MAC ??? I agree with gina12345 if you’re unfamiliar with MAC you will be S-O-L

Unfortunately not. If MAC is interested in getting some feedback for the new site, this thread should be pretty helpful. :haha:  I wonder if people are already driving live chat crazy complaining about it.

Not while it's in a thread in a section viewable only to people with at least a certain number of posts. Maybe a thread about the redesign could be created in MAC Chat with all the pertinent posts in this thread moved to it?

I had the site map set as one of my start up pages. Now that it just redirects to that horrible new front page I deleted it.

If one of the design goals of the new site was consistent performance across operating systems, then it's safe to say MAC nailed it by providing a site that is consistently crap.

I wish they'd just admit to having effed up and bring back the old site.
