USPS does screw me over a lot. I try to avoid it as much as possible.

I think the *only* time I ordered from saks was when I was randomly browsing and the TF duo in stroked popped up-- months after it was SO. I didn't even think twice about it being Saks. Luckily it came without problems.

I haven't yet had issues with them----if I ever do---that'll be it for me too!!! Hassles w/shipping trumps the convenience of online shopping. I have no patience for that!!!!
Interestingly, I received an order from Nordies this week via UPS and the fragrance that I placed w/that same order arrived on the same day, but vis USPS. I'm wondering if
the fragrance was shipped from a local store.

I so agree!!! I refuse to purchase from Saks. Then I will forget their stupid shipping, and then get all pissy when I realize the goofy shipping is why my order is taking so long to reach me.

I'm actually surprised it's only $30. I was worried it would be more expensive. Well it's hopped onto my loves list and will be coming to me next time I place an order. And sometime this week I'll be returning that dior mascara.

Has anyone tried the Blanc de Perle skincare? What are your thoughts?

I picked up the Cleansing Foam and Brightening Lotion.

The Cleansing Foam has a fair amount of fragrance (to me, it's a generic perfume scent), and a luxurious low-foam texture. My only complaint is that it contains microbeads, which I wasn't aware of and I'm not crazy about (for environmental reasons, plus I'm not looking for an exfoliant in my cleanser).

The Brightening Lotion is a nice toner. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and not tight.

I like both products enough that I'm going to get the night cream next.

I've been using the White P.E.A.R.L. sleeping mask (that ridiculous name feels like a Marvel supervillain coalition or something) twice a week for a few months now, I'd guess. For the first couple of weeks I think it helped to fade my acne scars, but I do still have some. I like the applicator and it feels tingly when I put it on. The scent also is quite soothing and helps me get to sleep, and the texture is lovely.
