Tom Ford and Armani makeup arent sold here. I have gotten a few Armani things when I was on holidays and I enjoyed them too. Never tried Tom Ford.

Once you have experienced Mr. Ford, you will never look back. His lipsticks are to die for. I was chatting with my brother yesterday. He wanted to make a purchase for one of his many passions. The one he really wanted was 1400.00, his second choice was 995.00. Being the true sister I am, I used MAC lipstick vs. TF. I told him, the lipstick I really want costs 50.00, but I can get a MAC that is a close dupe for 16.00. But I would always covet the TF lipstick. So in the end, I would have spent 66.00, vs. the 50.00 if I just got what I really wanted in the first place. So he purchased the 1400.00. Yes, I enable my brother too.

Pulled Jardin out again today to play a bit - I have a feeling that it will be in heavy rotation. It feels perfect for the heat of summer- light metallics.

That's one I have been considering buying. I have a 30%off coupon. Hmmm, use it for this one or the eye revover palette (well, logic tells me to use it for the most expensive item).

That's a pretty palette!!!

I think it has the best formula of the newer palettes. Unlike the blogger who finds everything dry.... I find a lot of the recent Dior quints quite dry. Jardin is buttery and wonderful, if you use the proper brush (starting to think that's the blogger's issue- improper brush selection for certain items).

I got Bar and Trafalgar, which were the two limited editions I wanted, and then Versailles for holidays since I liked neither. I got House of Greens and Contrast Horizon as well. That's within my strict buying list policy (one per collection). I went from 0 to 5 of these eyeshadows.

Jardin and Femme Fleur are really pretty palettes that I like, and that are really good to the touch (at least, the testers). I'm thinking of adquiring both as well. Dior screwed me over with the Addict Liquid Shadows though. Those two might have to wait after all. Not sure if Jardin is really needed because I already have House of Greens, but it has such great reviews...

I don't feel the same towards Carré Bleu for some reason, I feel like the shades of blue could have been better thought.

The rest are just neutrals and stuff. I have a few from Sephora that I already have.

I agree---the right brush makes all the difference in the world.

I love Trafalgar but was disappointed with Bar----I was drawn in by the pink shadow in Bar and it was basically white. One of my favorite Dior quints is Sundeck from
the TransAt collection. It amazed me more than any other Dior palette. It's pretty great. I have no interest in the liquid shadows---I've purchased several of the
Armani Eye Tints, which I love and don't feel the need for any more.

I had a soft spot for Carré Bleu but I never picked it up---so---I recently purchased Dior Designer 5 Colour Palette, Navy 208 to satisfy my blue craving and I love it!!!!!
I was tempted to pick up another of the Designer palettes, especially since they're currently 10% of at Nordies. I resisted and orders some Tom Ford eye brushes
instead.

I find synthetics like MAC 242 to be superior with the Dior quints, and some of these work better as wet eyeshadows (I'm the lone holdout who adored the holiday quints!). I usually go for a MAC 239 or Tom Ford eye brushes for the lid, for comparison.
