Guerlain is notorious for changing their minds.
I was told by one of their national beauty directors to my face that we'd get Poudre de Soie, but we all know how that has turned out.

It should not be that difficult to copy all the "should-knows" on one email. This is 2015, everybody is tapped into their devices. There shouldn't be so much disparity in information being provided to people that are offering, practically begging, to buy your products.Can you even stand it!!!! Agreed. I'm shocked at how uninterested the company seems to be in circulating information. Their reps are generally very nice, but they know next to nothing about what is in the works. I would think that keeping them up to date would help them be excited about their work.

Agreed a million percent!I find a real lack of communication and inconsistent information from Guerlain. The reps I have met are very nice, but usually I know more about upcoming (and sometimes existing) products.
As a fan, it's frustrating.

Their reps in PR are some of the nicest out of all the makeup brand reps, but even they are extremely out of loop when it comes to new products (except for some of the new fragrances). It doesn't help that Guerlain barely promotes their new releases and many of them either pop out in stores by surprise or simply don't show up at all. There is a big restock issue going on as well in the remaining counters. The Sears Guerlain counter disappeared out of magic by the beginning of March and it's such a bummer because that counter had tons of LE stuff available (it had most of the Madame Batifole collection, some of the Rouge Gs that were silently discontinued, and some previous holiday items.) From the Spring collection, the JCP counter never got Les Nuees quad and Rosy Silk lipstick, but they got plenty of stock of the new meteorites stuff. I need to check if they got the summer collection along with Teazurra perfume because I've been living under a rock with a bunch of pre-cal and calculus books during this semester and haven't bothered to check out any makeup since April. :/

Got my Terra D'ete today!! I have to say the packaging is rather lackluster! The golden part is just an overspray of course! The fragrance feels actually different from the usual Terracotta fragrance but nice (I have no issues with fragrance though- but those senstive might want to check it out since its pretty strong for a powder). All in all I hope I like it more once I actually use it!!

How does the terre d'ete compare to the regular coral/ teal ones? Is it much darker? Or about the same?

My Terracotta Terre d ete is here. It smells like jasmine tea to me, definitely doesn't smell like all the other Guerlain Bronzers/powders. I actually love this scent more than the original!! Haven't tried it yet, but I hope to later today and will try to report back tonight. It's a beautiful product visually, although the white case could have been better.

It's not the teazurra fragrance Meddy But the Tiare flower one!! It's pretty strong, pleasant (to me) but strong!![COLOR=0000FF] Lovely!!!!!
