Guerlain discussion

I would be 100% on board with meteorites perfume. My mom came to see me this past weekend and saw my tin sitting on the counter. She said it was beautiful and asked what it was. I made her smell them and apply them...2 hours later she had gone to Nordstrom and bought some of her own! Quick question for you ladies - do y'all know if the parure de lumiere foundation is being discontinued? My nordtrom doesn't have it in stock and Sephora's website has "limited stock" for each shade. I sure hope its not; that is my favorite foundation.

Guerlain Summer collection made its way to Stockholm so i finally had the chance to evaluate all products in person.i had already purchased Blue Ocean nail lacquer and the Rainbow pearls from feelunique (since they won't bring Rainbow pearls in Sweden) still i wanted to test the cream eyeshadow blue ocean. I really liked the swatch ( i expected it to be sheerer than it really was) and then i saw it! Terre D 'Ete in all its glory! You can imagine that it followed me home as i was really impressed by the texture and the design.the plastic packaging is quite cheap indeed but this seems to be the case for Guerlain lately with the limited edition highlighters/bronzers.as far as the packaging is concerned i was really disappointed with how the famous silicone caps in Summer terracottas look like. When i saw them online i was really intrigued but then... Seeing them in person definitely a miss for me! They are softer and they don t seem to last their flexibility at all! Total miss!!!

Although I hate destroying that beautiful pattern, this is one of my favourite highlighters. I use it under my brow and in the inner corners of my eyes as well as on my cheeks. Not sure I'm supposed to be doing that, but it looks phenomenal.
I would like to know if Cruel Gardenia highlighter has that "shiny fishscale" iridescent look to it like a lot of the MAC powders do?

I think you will love the scent if you love tea/jasmine type scents. I open it just to smell it lol Packaging is cheap, product inside is very pretty and it wears beautifully too. Can't wait to hear what you think of it!

It doesn't, actually. It's so very soft that it blends more easily into the skin. So it offers a very luminous glow, but doesn't look iridescent exactly.

Do you think Terre d'étë bronzer would suit skin with pink undertones? And do you find the rainbow pearls very shimmery? Thank you.

The packaging is cheap looking Meddy. I don't consider it as a bronzer on my skin because I'm brown already! It's more of a highlighting bronzer. I even used it as a finishing powder with a large fan brush.

On my fair skin with pink undertones the bronzer applied very natural and not orangy since anything Guerlain related ( terracotta and so on ) tends to show very orange on me! This one gives a natural bronze sheen and it's very blendable so there is no way to overdo :) In my opinion Rainbow Meteorites are more subtle and they give a natural brighter finish on me.the only drawback was that the green balls are not travel friendly, so when I received my order everything inside was green and only 2 balls survived intact. The rest is transformed to green powder all over the other balls so for me they are more color correcting and less shimmery if that makes any sense. Always in my point of view :) I hope I was helpful :)

Thank you for replying so promptly. You've been very helpful. I have just ordered Rainbow Meteorites. And I'm planning on buying Terre d'Eté when it's available here. Thanks again.:)

I'm totally obsessed with Jasmine! I smell it and in my mind I'm immediately transported to Bermuda where so many years ago I had
my first encounter with Jasmine. It was love at first whiff!!! I'm sure the product will be a finishing powder for me which was my
expectation from day 1.
