I wore Tropic Tonic today and I was pleasantly suprised that it is more WOC-friendly than I antiscipated! I expected to reach for my clear gloss but it wasn't necessary. I will say to exfoliate and moisturize ur pucker before applying because she is one of the more true matte formulation colors of this collection and does tend to sink into lines if lips aren't properly prepped

That color looks great on you! I might have to get it this weekend. I have to get waterproof foundation before my trip to Kennywood Monday and I don't want to melt on the raging Rapids. Haha

Thanx! The foundation really really holds up BUT the darker colors r definitely off not sure about the mediums and lights... I'm usually NC50/NW43... NC45 was a tad too yellow but NC50 was just about as orange based as Tropic Tonic lol! I settled for a sample of NC45 n it was EVERYTHINGGG I've always wanted in a summer base just a tad ashy... I may have to settle for NW40 cuz the stuff is AMAZINGGG

Awesome! I'll have to get matched anyways because I thought I was NC30 after I got a little tan, but when I got a new powder she said I was NC40. I don't know how I got THAT tan from a few days at the water park.

I agree, the color runs differently on this formula than for others. I'm generally NC25 and 30 in the summer if I have a really good tan going on, but I got a sample in NC30 that was slightly too light!

Smiley ur gonna love it!!! I find it more wearable on its own than Vegas Volt Try it! Its a really nice summery shade to go with a nice blush like Peachykeen or Peachtwist and some gold or bronze shadow on the eyes like I did yesterday
Perfect that is exactly why I picked it up because I didn't have Vegas Volt and it looked like the matte version.

Honestly I don't like VV on her own on me... She needs to be tweeked a bit with liner or gloss for my tastes but baby TT stands on her own

The colors are all over the place in different formulas of foundation, concealer and powder... As of now I can wear NW40,NW43, n NC50, all in different MAC foundation formulas...
