I just read in German blog that Fraicheur will only be available in one (!!!) Douglas store here in Germany and nowhere else. Another assholish move of Chanel and simply an insult to German customers. I've just started to really like their skincare, but consider seriously to go back to Guerlain and never buy anything Chanel again. I just hope there will be a lot of bloggers discussing this sort of customer-unfriendly behaviour. Chanel finally had to change their stupid policy of selling us inferior eyeshadows, so maybe blogging does help to make things better. Maybe the blogger didn't get the correct information and Fraicheur will only be exclusive for some time and then become permanent, like Particuliere. So it's wait and see. But I'll definitely not buy an overpriced Fraicheur on eBay. Tom Ford and Guerlain have some pretty NPs too that I've been eyeing for some time ;)
I'm really sorry, that's super frustrating. I get annoyed at the Asia Exclusives that Dior & Chanel release because they are typically the collections that are more my cup of tea. I can totally understand wanting something that is hard to find. Maybe a friend from another country can send over a bottle?

Well, yeah, there are ways to get any ultra-limited editions. I just don't want to play that game anymore. We're living in a globalized world, we all buy from online shops and sellers, so why shouldn't we be able to buy a damn nail polish without any extra hassle? Especially since it apparently isn't LE in the US (at least it seems so on the website). I don't see any reason why we should be treated as second-class customers. I really thought this bs had finally ended when the new eyeshadows were out and they were the same for all of us. But no, Chanel has to start this idiotic game again.

What? Then I won't get it, either. I used to get CPs for things that I really wanted and that weren't available here, but I haven't done that in a while. Having to chase products like that is such a turn-off, I'm kinda over it.

Naynadine, here's the blog post. As I said, I don't know if it's correct, there isn't much information about Fraicheur on the net right now.

Thanks for the link. Wasn't the Holiday collection exlcusive to the Douglas in Frankfurt as well? Maybe it will pop up online after all, I do doubt that, though.
The Plumes Precieuses collection with the silver highlighter? No, I got mine from Breuninger Stuttgart, and I think Kadewe had it as well.

I'm thinking of buying some makeup from Chanel.com and was wondering if anyone knows how big typically the boxes that Chanel ships the makeup in are. I'm asking as I'm not in the US and I want to use a parcel forwarding service but before I do I wanted to estimate the shipping costs which are dependent both on weight and size of the package. Many thanks.

Hi KateI've make several recent purchases but it will obviously depend on how much you order. They use their brand-name box on the inside but the outer box must
be large enough to accommodate it. My last two inner boxes were 8-5 x 8.5 and 9.5 x 6.45----the outer box had to be larger than those, but again it depends on what you
order and how much you order.

Hi, Medgal, thank you for replying so promptly. It's really helpful. I only want to order a JC , an eyeshadow quad and a lipstick so hopefully it shouldn't be too big. Does the outside box have Chanel writing on it?

Hi Kate, I am in Australia and use MyUS.com, they previously charged by dimensional weight, now it is only actual weight, which is a big relief.

I'm so impatient too! I've already ordered Eau Fraiche, but I ordered it from Nordies instead of Chanel. I'll get the 6% cash back and a GWP that I wasn't expecting!!!! I love hearing that it's your fav too. Monsy pushed me over the cliff and you just confirmed that jumping (on the Eau Fraiche bandwagon) was a great move. Thank you!!!!

About Eau Vive---when I wore it for the first time yesterday I ran errands and the young man at the market who was bagging my groceries said, OMG, you smell really good. As I left the store he yelled, "keep smelling good." He was just beside himself. The cashier and another patron just laughed!!!
What a funny encounter!

I have Chance Eau Tendre, I really like it. I tried the Eau Vive, and it is nice, once I finish a few more bottles I am running low on, I may invest!
