I don't have blush money right now but when I do, all those are coming with me! And Burnt Pepper too!
I already had burnt pepper and it is def a must girl
I am looking at Film Noir & Swiss Chocolate. I am going to wait until they hit the store so I can swatch.......but I am so impatient I may order on line. I am surprised that there are no swatches just pictures. Are you using these to contour?
Yeah I'm impatient too lol yeah that's exactly what I plan to do I figured they will be perfect for face and Swiss chocolate for a nose contour
Those are the three that interest me the most. And maybe Frankly Scarlet, which is waaaay atypical for me, since i usually go for nudes, browns (see above), and subtle warm pinks and pinky corals.
I have frankly scarlet def a must buy
Do you think the Sketch blush is a dupe for Dirty Plum?
l I have dirty plum and just by looking at it and the pics completely different

These are too warm to contour with.

Definitely different colours. As the name implies, sketch is much more red, and dirty plum is more blue.

I LOVE frankly scarlet, when I wear it I feel like Snow White or somethin'. With a light touch it gives a very beautiful flush of red, like you've been out in the cold and with someone you love so you're mad red in the cheeks but still soft and cute
Lol
I've always wanted to try FS but am afraid it would be too much. May I ask what skin tone you have? I am C1 in Face and Body.

Thank you.

I don't wear foundation so I don't know my colour, sorry, I am fair skinned though! And I wear light plus for the mineral skin finish

I'm quite fair- NC15ish- and I can wear it no problem. If you use a brush like the 188, it gives you a lot of control and you can layer a little at a time.

I tuned into the bag too when I saw this in the catalog. The brushes - I don't know. I don't see any unusual ones. I kind of like mini brushes so I like to get the mini counter part of favorites if I can but these look like the regular assortment. So pass. Any other Nordies sale info anyone can direct me to?

I read the review on Beautypedia and bought a bottle. It has a rating of 4 out of 4 there.

Quoting from the review:
"The good news is that there are plenty of... ingredients in this lightweight gel-lotion that make it a winner. It's housed in a thick, frosted glass pump container that will keep its beneficial ingredients stable (though for maximum benefit, this should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, as the frosted glass is clear). Going on, this certainly feels refreshing, and it sinks into skin, drying to a lightly dewy finish, making this best for normal to dry skin.

"Thanks to the film-forming agents this contains, it does appear to blur and fill pores and fine lines as claimed, but those agents don't make skin feel tight. Instead, it feels lightly moisturizing. If you have very dry skin, you'll likely need something a bit more on the heavy-duty side..."

Pros:

  • Temporarily minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines.
  • Contains antioxidants, skin-identical ingredients, and emollients to help repair skin.
  • Performs beautifully as a foundation primer.

"...the only drawback is that this includes a very minor amount of fragrance. You can't smell it, but it's something to keep in mind if you have very sensitive skin. Otherwise, Mineralize Timecheck Lotion is one of MAC's best products yet!"

I've only used it once or twice. It felt nice, didn't seem to irritate my rosacea, so i intend to start using it every day.
