Hmmmm... to order champagne pop today, or not? I always found Becca highlighters to seem a bit TOO pigmented, but this shade does seem wearable for the super pale, like myself. Also, I'm a sheeple..
I feel the same way as you. There were a lot of dumb "reviews"
lol.gif
but one of them did say it was sort of metallic & another said it is not a subtle highlighter. So, I am unsure too. I do not like my highlighters to be too shiny or too pigmented.

I'm personally unsure on how I feel about the CP highlighter. I think it all depends on your preference/comfort zone, but I found it to be quite flashy and reflect a lot of light on my dark skin. It definitely comes off metallic on my skin. I blended the little I had on into my skin as much as possible, and went over it with the new CT Dreamy Glow highlighter-- now that highlighter is subtle, but not so much so that your skin won't be glowing. It really does mimic a soft, dreamy effect on the skin, without highlighting skin imperfections, and although it appears light, it will NOT come off chalky or ashy on deep complexions. I just hate that it's so pricey! But I do love it already.

I will have to play with CP a little more before I come to a conclusion as to whether or not it's for ME. I've always liked softer highlighters though, so others may LOVE this.

Not sure if you've seen it, but actually her sister's blog post sort of sold me on it.

I think that with proper application it can look nice... not subtle but not the... "Jaclyn Hill highlighter on fleek" look.. I feel like she tends to over apply her highlight.

The Becca ones are usually really pigmented and metallic though they blend well and can be pared down for a subtle look too! I am assuming this one is going to be along the same lines!! I would go with the highly pigmented, metallic finish!!

That really helps me a lot! Thank you so much. I'm just going to get the CT one. I like my highlighters to look natural. ;)

I keep going back and forth about the JH highlighter. It looked like a no way in the first pics I saw but then there were later ones that made it look nice for me. I guess I'll have to order and see for myself. Yes. the CT highlighter is pricey but I'll probably cave, highlighter addict that I am.

Its beautiful on her. It does look like it would be too darkish for a highlighter.

I just called a Sephora store asking for stock check of an item, and they automatically assumed I was talking about the Becca JH highlighter, lol! SA I spoke to was super sweet and was like "Yes, we have them!" I told him I would be one of the few people today NOT calling for that, lol.
