You're the second person who wasn't too thrilled with the brushes. Sorry they were disappointing Britt!!!
At least I gave them a shot, Sephora luckily has a good return policy!

I think I will keep the tapered highlighting brush, I do enjoy it. That Ougi brush (also, terrible name), is just no good. Maybe somebody who likes a more harsh

blush look will like it!

I bought a beauty blender and a beauty blender mini and picked up the tote. It is cute. It is canvas and can fold up small enough to fit in my pocketbook. I just have to remember to take it with me when I go shopping.

You ain't never been a liar! The struggle is real. I would wear my contacts daily because then I could also drive in my sunglasses and not rely on transition lenses except that the air conditioning in my office dries my eyes out when I wear contacts. Maybe I need to look into a more hydrating one for work.

I got my HakuhodoxSephora brushes today and I'm not in love =\. The Ougi brush is so confusing to me.... I found myself placing the blush with that brush and then blending with another. That's going back for sure. The Kotsubu is perfectly adequate... It does a good job of putting on highlighter but isn't anything amazing. It doesn't differ much from the other synthetic pointed highlighter brushes I have. For $38, I'm torn on keeping it. Anybody else pick them up?
After I saw tarababyz review and the fact that they are synthetic I decided they might not be worth it. Thanks for your input.

Have you tried keeping eye drops nearby? I have some and they help a lot. I actually don't have dry eyes, but just the opposite and a bit of astigmatism. When my eyes get too watery and things start to blur the drops just clear things up. I think there's some that can definitely help with your dry eyes.

I'll have to look into it. I think the lenses I have don't let enough oxygen in so that, joined with the dry cool air doesn't fare well for my eyes. I'm due for a check up end of this month/next month so I'll ask the optician to recommend something.

What do you think of the YSL Blur Primer? I really love it, but I really really like the Blur Perfector
I absolutely LOVE the blur primer! Under makeup or worn alone! It's magical :sigh:  :sigh: I'm on the fence about the blur perfector...i want it, but there are SO many mixed reviews. I need to just order it already and see for myself. I dunno why I procrastinate, because I always cave in! :eek:hboy:
what color did you get?
I got shade Y315 and Y415. Y315 which is 125(sand) in the old formula, is a way better match for me than Y415. (My face is lighter than my body) I'm going to sephora this weekend to dibble and dabble with the shade range, just to be certain I picked the best one! I will report back to you since we favor in complexion ;)

I know! I love her reviews. I was actually quite surprised she like the Ougi brush for blush. But she does tend to wear her blush in a way that I think it could work for her

Me too, I love her reviews. I feel like if I am going to pay that much for a brush I'd like it to be natural hair. I have plenty of synthetic brushes that are great that are less expensive, like my Zoeva or RT.

Awww that is such a sweet name. I love it!

I've been wanting a dog for a while now. I've always been afraid of dogs but I fell in love with my sister's dog and now I want a fur baby of my own! I told my neighbor that I want her dog. LOL. She has the CUTEST dog ever -- an Australian Labradoodle. That dog is sooo stinking cute, it's sickening!

 That is SO sweet & I LOVE the name you chose - it's perfect. I feel that ^^^ way about Auggie, our son & DIL's puppy that we babysit. This last time she stayed with us, she slept on her back with her head resting on my chest & shoulder. We're close buds. I cried & get so depressed when she has to go back to the kids. I hope you enjoy your new pup!

I got an e-mail early this morning that the MUFE foundation is in stock. I might order it. I wanted to see the new shades in person first, but patience has never been a virtue for me.

Got that email too! My local SiJCP had them all in stock. I got a sample of the fairest "Y" shade. We'll see how it fairs!

Hi, girls! It's been a while. My grandmother passed, and then I've been out of town (I popped in the MAC GV thread yesterday). Ran in Sephora today to pick up a new MUFE Aqua Cream #16 (my FAV)... and they're goooooooooooooone. No idea if they're ever going to carry them again. Thanks, Sephora. So I got one of the Aqua Matic crayons instead. And I picked up the MJ Petra nail polish, because why not. So... with all that... I hit VIB Rouge for the year. Which is weird -- I feel like this is the longest it's taken me.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and I missed everyone while I was MIA.

OH!!! And PS- I got the hakuho-do x Sephora Kusabi brush and I think I really like it. I used it today for some soft, subtle contouring, and it did a bang up job!

Not Sephora related, but I wanted to offer it here first. I have an extra 20% off Saks coupon that expires tonight. Sorry for the short notice, but it was good only for yesterday and today.
I have an extra 10% off code now. The 20% is gone.
I'm still basking in the glow of the 3 beautiful dresses I was able to get because you shared your code w/me

So generous and kind of you!!!!
This makes me so happy.

We have to look out for our fellow makeup junkies! Help save you money on dresses so you can buy more makeup later, lol!
