Seriously most SAs are the same way. If that was my full time job I'd make sure I knew everything about my product line, not just whatever little info the store gives me.

Thank you so much for posting this, although I practically purchased the entire collection sight unseen from saks.com yesterday. I'm such a sucker for Chanel. Although a couple of lucky people have commented on the quint's lack of pigmentation and vibrancy, I'd like to still see it in person because tastes differ. It is not on sites that have gotten the collection early (only Saks and Macy's that I know of). Does anyone know or gave a bunch as to when it will start showing up online? Thank you! True, I cannot find a swatch of 342 anywhere, and it's sold out on sites where the others are showing as available!

I spoke to a Lancome SA today, and asked what was up with collections not coming here - she said we get one or two a year nowadays, and that they focused so much on their skincare that the makeup suffered, I assume in terms of marketing and maybe product development. She said she had high hopes now that Lisa Eldridge was creative director. I'm trying Shine Lover soon I ordered 340, and bought 3 of the Rose lippies today - 343, 349, and 246 - I will swatch in the lonely Lancome thread.

Meddy, I wish I had never seen them - I bought 3 today. I have the MAC Valli lippies on the way, another Lancome one, 4 of the Clinique Pop lippies , and a Bobbi Brown.I need to go into hiding...from myself! Oh, and MAC is releasing an apparently Perm Cremesheen Pearl Collection with new shades, and I love that formula...
I do love my JC's, I'm really enjoying Crescendo at the moment, it's such a pretty warm pink! I hope your blush arrives soon!!

They're just special. I have to force myself NOT to use Malice and Pink Explosion!
Too bad all of the shadows in the quint aren't as vibrant and pigmented. I had high hopes for that palette!
The quint looks so vibrant & like it would be pigmented in the photos, but for me it just didn't do it. Ernie likes it though, so maybe others will too. I think that I was mostly disappointed in the brown shade. I wanted it to be rich in color & pigmentation & when I swatched it, it was just blah on me. I really really wanted to own that quint too - bummer

I am horrified by my latest spreeI know the feeling! So funny. I looked at the Shine Lover lipsticks, but for some reason I just did not buy them. I would love to know what you think of them. I did not know that about the MAC cremesheens. I love those too.
I'll let you know what I think of the Shine Lover, I have one on the way to start with.

I have a large bottle of LVEB, Iove it, it's like Flowerbomb and Miss Dior Cherie had a baby!
I never tried Definicils, but I loved Hypnose mascara!

I did not like Flowerbomb but I like LVeB, too!
I like Definicils more than the YSL, Gucci sample and Chanel le Volume for sure but I think I personally prefer drugstore brands for mascara.

They are L'Absolu Rouges, which are much more pigmented and luxurious than the Shine Lovers. They're the ones I bought today, in 342, 246 and 349- Monsy's swatches are gorgeous in the Lancome thread.
I'll let you know what I think of the Shine Lover, I have one on the way to start with.
