Chanel Fall 2015

Hi ladies, I purchased some items from the Chanel Fall 2015- ok basically the entire collection, with the exception of the quint and the illusion d' ombres, from Saksfifthavenue.com. I bought the quint today from Nordstrom.com because it was the first site I checked to have it. I'm not one for purchasing an entire collection, but this one just spoke to me. The automnal colors work so well together and lend mystery and allure to the eyes, face, and lips. The textures of the products are also excellent. Everything is really pigmented. I believe that these are colors that would be flattering on all skin tones. Thought I'd post some swatches in case it helps with your purchasing decisions. I am olive toned, a B30 in Chanel bases, a 5 in Charlotte Tilbury, but I don't use MAC so I don't have a reference for that...maybe I'd be an N25 or so...dunno. If you want a better swatch of any particular item, let me know No polish swatches included. The quad and Pomme de Pin eye liner:

I picked up quite a bit. Quint, quad, orange Id'O, 2 RCS, red gloss and Ardent. Editng to add blush! I still want the rest of the liners and the polishes. I didn't try on Pensive but may try it later. I may get the red lipstick too. I'm not sure I need the black Id'o. I have to think about it. I passed on the brown mascara for now. I used to only use brown mascara but now I've been wearing bolder makeup and I'm happy with black. We shall see. As for the quint. I only swatched with a qtip and they don't always show off the color. Most colors showed up so I figured I could work it. I did have trouble with the matte brown shade. I have trouble passing up a neutral palette and I have trouble skipping these quints. I have them all except the last one and since it is still in stock I keep considering it. it is not a must have though. The orange was going to wait but the SA swatched it on her hand and it looked so beautiful. I couldn't leave it. The only thing is, I planned to get the orange Armani cream shadow so now I don't know. I think the Armani maybe more metallic. Oh and [@]Anahita Balsara[/@] gave me the idea to go triple points today. Usually I don't do it if they are having double points but I'm always saving them and only making big purchases during events so that I end up trying to use up the triple points the last day of the year. I hope I made the right decision. Also I'm thinking not many collections are pulling me right now. That is not to say my list is small, just not much from one particular brand.

I thought it was just okay AWS!! The shades looked pretty but swatched idk it was nice not wow!! I am quite skeptical about their quints in general though !! Many a times they look absolutely gorgeous but doesnt translate that way at all!!

I am going to try it out Tomm meddy!! My Nordstrom had just got in the collection! They didn't even have the testers out!! I thought it swatched better with the new tester but I could also have been influenced by everyone's good reviews about the quad lol!!

Same here. The lipsticks were just ok. The red gloss was really pretty.


I did just order a BU of the blush. NM was 12% ebates!

I waited for Bloomingdales for the same reason and they finally have it up!! Only got the blush, which they have priced at $43. They also have 8% on ebates today.
