I neither knew Brooke nor Selena, but both collaborations sound good imo. Really like the Brooke lipstick names.

This kind of makes me HOPE upon HOPE that they will do a Aaliyah collection... I would SOOOOOO rather that than a Caitlyn Collection. No shade to Caitlyn but she is not a style icon to me. She doesn't even have a style. Selena broke down doors in the music industry and was basically one of the first to show the world the beauty of having a womanly body. Aaliyah was an urban hip hop princess with a distinct style and sound and would be a mega hit artist if she was with us today. Both lives cut too short, way before their light was able to shine it's brightest.

I think you misunderstood. This was not in reference to Selena...it was in reference to Brooke Candy. I didnt know the artist so I Googled her and the first thing that popped up was a YouTube video of her dressed like Shenehneh from Martin yelling "I WANNA FU*K RIGHT NOW" over and over. It was way to early in the morning for all of that and I wish I hadnt looked her up.

pbi - I think she had it right on. I think she agreed with your regret at looking that up too. I know I do. I never had to know who Brooke Candy was, and I never had to see those images, and I would have been just fine. JMO.

Yes!!! That would make me SO happy! I'm a huge Aaliyah fan and still remember when I got the call from my best friend back then that she had died. One In A Million is my favorite song, a lipstick with that name would be amazing.

I totally get it. Its crazy how a statement can be taken in a totally differently way and you as a respected member not given a chance to explain your statement before deleting it. I understand that we want everyone to not be rude but a long time member as yourself should at least be given a chance to explain yourself. I thought the statement was too ambiquous for a conclusion like that to be made so abruptly.

When I googled her it was loads of half naked, raunchy pics. Nothing like the awesome makeup ones Nay posted. I was very disturbed too! lol
