LOL, I'm SO happy to hear I'm not alone! I've checked the progress several times, meanwhile My Dior HL just arrived today (thanks to you & Meddy, btw ) and my CT HL is due to arrive tomorrow, so I'm good. Yet...I'm eager for the TF to ship out ASAP. I need helpI keep checking too to see if the back order has changed to "in process"- Because I have no other highlighters :lmao:

I've heard mixed reviews on the drops so I'm not sure if that's the route I want to go.

Do fake Tom Ford products exist?
My kind, naive father, after a sales assistant re-neg'd on a preorder I'd made for the Soleil 2015 collection, hopped onto eBay and tried to save the day by buying a compact-less Pink Glow Eye and Cheek colour compact. Unfortunately I'm worried he's bought a fake product, as I've never heard of being able to buy the shades alone, without the packaging.
The listing has only these two images:
Do you guys have any insight with this sort of thing? I think he used PayPal, so should be able to get a refund if it is fake, but how would I prove it?

In most instances they initiate the transaction to secure the funds and then process & complete the transaction when the merchandise ships.

They always put this "exclusive to Selfridges", when they get the collection 1-2 weeks earlier than everyone else.

I haven't swatched the Dior yet lol. By just looking at it, it's beautiful!! And I love how it same packaged from Dior, very elegant! I'm going to cave and wear it tomorrow, I'm way too curious to see how it wears! I'm sooo excited about receiving the CT! Have you worn either of them yet?

Wow The colors look the same to me. I think the glitter shade doesn't look as glittery but that could just be lighting. I don't think there is any way to tell. I agree, it definitely looks like an unused tester to me. Some Ebay sellers pretty much just sell excess testers.
I've seen some fake TF lipsticks, but not many and they were terrible fakes, looked nothing like the real thing. Otherwise nothing. I would be amazed if someone went to the trouble of making fakes of this palette, getting the unusual pan shapes and product colours right, and then didn't even bother putting it in a case. Seems like a lot of effort for what can't be that much reward given it's not a complete item.
Unless you use it and feel the texture or scent is way off, I think you're safe assuming it's the real deal.
