Here's a quick shot of Heaux! Please ignore the pile of stuff in the back... we were in the middle of vacuuming and rearranging pillows on our couches before company comes over later on tonight. I explained to my husband the importance of a quick break to take a pic of a lipstick swatch, lol.

Yeah I'm good, I don't need a backup of my Heaux. She has some intense sheen and if I would know any better I'd say she's a creamsheen in an amplified case and box! She was sweating a little and I literally swatched her right away so maybe that's why, but naw, nothing like the OG.

Edit: She's pretty, but too shiny for me to want a backup. She just looks like something else I have.

No makeup but Heaux Heaux Heaux today! :haha:

RiRi Heaux is the hands down winner. Lol. I'm glad you have both now.

I do have the OG Heaux and adore it so I have high expectations for this new version. I used to have Ruby Woo, but got rid of it awhile back.

Got both my lipsticks ( heaux and RR) !! Heaux feels a tad too creamy but it could be because of spending the whole day inside the UPS truck!! But I LOVEEEEE Royally Rioutious!! It's a nice warm pink brown on me!! Not brown brown at all!!! It's gorgeous!! I will post some searches tomm!! It's pretty late for good lighting!!! Edit: sloppy try on!!

You know more than me on the cs front! I think it's more of the "shiny" or sheen factor I couldn't wrap my head around for Heaux...because then it's like any other berry lipstick, imo. I also only have 3 amps, I prefer mattes for MAC. I have had issues with Pure Heroine from the Lorde collection with patchiness but love Happy-Go-Lucky from Playland and Make Me Gorg from MIB. I don't remember them being drying though...

I think it's only me that finds them drying lol. It's weird. I love mattes too and honestly most of them I don't find drying.

I just love the OG Heaux on you. I wonder if we just put a clear gloss on it and have this new Heaux? And if Dfor Danger is an exact dupe, you need all of them.
