Me too. But I don't know about the whole Caitlyn Jenner thing because I think that was circulating right when that story came out and it was just speculation. Caitlyn doesn't strike me as a purple woman. I don't know why. More red or something, more sophisticated? Purple is funky to me.

I agree, while I would love to see a collab with Caitlyn purely because mac has always been a trans friendly company and are very vocal about their support of the lgbtq community (did I forget any letters? Is there an i in there now? So hard to keep up). And with Caitlyn being one of the most visible women in the trans community right now, it would be great to see mac strike while the iron is hot. Hell, why not make it a full on celebration of the trans community and involve women like Laverne Cox and Andreja Pejić (though she has just been announced as the face of MUFE). However I seem to have gotten distracted. My point was, I agree, I don't think purple chrome really suits a glamorous 65 year old woman, as fab as purple chrome is.

I agree. As much as I cannot stand the karcrashians/jenners (with the exception of Rob jr, seeing that he doesn't want any part of the circus), I'm gonna just bow down to the purple packaging and try to scrub off any association with their name. But fingers crossed, that this packaging has nothing to do with them at all

I'm neutral on them but I feel like the purple lovers have been waiting for this for so long, it would be best if the collection were a non-associated collection and had enough to go around. Christmas collection stock is usually high so I think Christmas would be perfect. Also, I highly doubt a "celebrity" (word used loosely) would have a collection without their name on the bullet. Based on the product pics we've seen, there are no names or signatures on the bullet or lipstick itself. Ah well, we'll find out soon enough.

That's a plus. Hopefully we'll find out sooner, rather than later behind the mystery of the beautiful purple packaging

I'm keeping my finger crossed that it is the holiday collection. But if it is, this collection is kinda lacking on the lipstick front

Exactly what I thought. So maybe we're correct in thinking a holiday collection although I would hope there's more than just the three lipsticks!

It would be cool if they did some non-celebrity trans/genderfluid/nb people for a full collection. Like Tyler Ford or Mitch Grassi (who I adore to death lol)--Mitch has been rocking some creme d'nude and lady danger lately.

My disdain for association with the Jenner clan is not about transgender issues. If this is associated with the Jenner and they are to receive NOTHING in compensation and all proceeds to go to a charity. I might think about it.

I have one of these as well. I have pics but my watermarking is not working correctly so I cannot upload them yet! It's the same bullet as the pic you see on TM's page. Says Dita Von Teese in red writing on a black bullet and the bottom label of mine says Von Teese sample. Doesn't state anywhere what the finish is but I would guess Matte. No idea when it is coming out.

yes I think all or at least most celeb collabs should only go strictly to a charity! they shoudl use their name/brand wisely for that instead


on another note, can't wait to see more of the dita von teese since I adore the classic and polished look!
