I'm hoping for matte's as well. From these first pictures it looks like he's playing it a little bit safer this time and sticking with pinks, corals/oranges, reds, nudes and berries/purples. He covered those shade ranges pretty well last time around, so I'm thinking that means this time the differences will come down to formula more than colour. Crossing fingers!

I'd love a mini Velvet Violet, Velvet Cherry and Electric Pink.

Ones I would have wanted from last time: Beau, Henry, Stavros, Alasdhair, Flynn, James, Richard, Matthew, Alejandro, Julian, Xavier, Cary, and maybe Guillermo depending on how it showed on me...any red flag, poor performers in my hypothetical/historical picks?...my god, that would be only 13 and almost $500!!!! I'm in trouble if these boys play as nicely...

I'm hoping if he repromotes these boys, that he keeps the names because untangling that would be a pain.

Stavros is on the sheerer side for being one of the 'creamy' formula's, but it applies beautifully and is more wearable due to being less than fully opaque. Alasdhair is a tricky one. It can look a bit patchy and feel a bit slippery when built up and a lot of people didn't like it due to that, but I love it when applied as a single coat. Not a lipstick you want to try to get a 100% opaque result from though.

I think otherwise all your choices had pretty perfect formula's. I'd be surprised if most of them weren't re-promoted this time around.

I'm on the way to Vegas for my husband's bday as we speak. Thanks for the heads up about the lipsticks! I've been waiting for the since the pic was posted in this thread a few days ago! Is the So Vain in the LE black tube? I hope I can control myself with 30 new shades!!

All lippies in traditional TF case (not white). You will need to ask for them bc display not out yet, Not sure when they will have display up.

Most of the lipsticks were TF's standard lippie formula (mostly opaque and creamy) and a handful were more like his summer lipstick range (sheer and softly shimmery). There were a few frostier metallic lipsticks as well but it doesn't look like they're coming back, they seemed to be the worst sellers (of what's still available from last year, it's mostly the metallic frosts).

I think Temptalia has swatches and reviews of all last years Boys.

I ended up with 25 (!!!!) and they're probably my favourite lipsticks.

Edit: Oh, and if you didn't already know, about half the shades were just mini versions of his perm and discontinued full size lippies. So Holden= Vanilla Suede and Didier = Moroccan Rouge and so on.

I was fortunate enough to find Moroccan Rouge at a CCO last spring. I don't think I've worn it yet----product overload!!!
