The old Vamp 18 is definitely a dupe of Rouge Noir. The new Vamp 18 has shimmers!

So:

Rouge Noir 18 = no shimmer = vintage (90s) Vamp.

Vamp 18 = shimmer = different hue altogether.

Ok I may need to get this now. I bought vamp when it first came out and liked it but didn't feel the need to buy it again. Shimmers and a special bottle may get me to buy it. Thanks.

Hello ICL, I just want to clarify that Rouge Noir Holiday 2015 has no shimmers and is a dupe for the old Rouge Noir. The only difference between the two is in the packaging. Ash was asking whether Rouge Noir is a dupe of Vamp, of which there are actually two versions; the older version of Vamp is a dupe of Rouge Noir while the new version has shimmers!

You are correct. No shimmer = Rouge Noir 18 Holiday 2015 = Regular Rouge Noir 18 = Old Vamp

Hi Urbis, Hmm...I am not familiar with the EU version of Rouge Noir so I won't be of any help in the disambiguation. : / My assumption is that Rouge Noir 18 is the same across continents. If my assumption is true and that Italy currently still stocks Rouge Noir 18, then yes, you are correct that Rouge Noir 18 for Holiday 2015 is a re-issue. The reason I label Rouge Noir 18 as old in my previous posts is because the color has been discontinued in the U.S. for a few years now...if I remember correctly. Hope this helps!
