It's so pretty that I'm going to love having it, but it's hard for me to believe this was used in the promo. The tone MAY be right, but they must have used an extremely light hand because it looks pretty dark.TF Love Bruise gloss :eyelove:

Just think of discussing with your partner over dinner, without kiddies present. I thinking of trying some Softcore, and perhaps adding Dark and Dangerous or Something Wild, but I am concerned that Love Bruise might be over the top.....is it too much if I switched into Showgirl, or would Virgin Rose be better for you???? I am being So Vain right now, but after all it is My Guilty Pleasure embracing the 7th Sin.

Hi, remember last L&B? The shades were very very close, but a bit different? Well to some they were and to some they were the same. Tom Ford will often change something very slight and re promote it. Example Beau was Blush Nude. The summer duo shadows, the creams were close, but a bit off. I think some of the lips are almost dupes!
My advice is look for the shade you like , then decide if you want it in a larger size or a smaller one or like the junkies we are, in both!
As for Estee Lauder owning, yes the same factories and production are producing Mac, EL, clinique , TF. The formulas are different though.
Example, I used to work for PX! I loved magic powder, they changed it a bit when PX was taken out of stores and added it to the MAC line up.
A company will use the same ingredients, but not the same formula. I feel TF formula is superior to other Lauder brands.

I love a good fairy tale....hues and values, dye lots. Art 101, white is the hardest to replicate, black is second. That is why anyone who does needle arts knows buy all that you think you might need with the same dye lot. If you don't and go back to purchase additional materials even if it the same producer is the maker, it will never be an exact match. Same with wall paper. Wow, that was a major blow off the cobwebs off my college education.

Sorry I haven't posted a lip swatch, I've had no makeup days since getting back in town & I didn't want to subject anyone to that lol
I'll try to post one tomorrow. I will say I briefly tried it on today for the first time & it is beautiful! You can see the gold micro shimmers & it leaves behind tiny gold shimmers when the lipstick wears off. I also find it pulls more plummy than mauvey on my lips.

I had Guillermo and gave it to my cousin b/c it pulled way too brown on me, so I remember it well. Not to mention it doesn't have gold shimmer in it like So Vain does.

The HL duo is truly stunning, moreso then I thought it was going to be. I especially love the bronze shade b/c it is very unique and brings a beautiful glow to the cheeks. I personally haven't tried the new primers, but I'm sort of "meh" about them after reading ho-hum reviews about them. I skipped those with no problem.
