  [COLOR=0000FF] OMG Sis---Your pics make these look so amazing!!!  Thanks for sharing them.  I still have not yet opened the 4[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]   boxes that arrived today.  Getting to it now though![/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]:yaay: [/COLOR]   [COLOR=0000FF]I don't know if this is a trend or not but Dior released some palettes that were quite shear and people[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]  complained, I think  because we're conditioned to thinking [/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF]highly pigmented is best.  Upon [/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF]reading the [/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF]literature[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]  with one of the palettes I quickly learned that they were intended to be that way.  When I used the palette in[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]  accordance w/those instructions, I understood---I got it.  That [/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF]palette is now [/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF]one[/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF] of my favorites.[/COLOR]

Which palette?

For those of you who have purchased the new highlighter AND the new lipsticks. If you had to pick one or the other which would you go for? Yes, being a on a restricted funds plan sucks. I do not have the money for both. So is it lips or cheeks, ladies???? Remember I do have the Chanel highlighter from last summer with the lace pattern. That I am doing my best to convince myself it is OK to pass on this highlighter due to this reasoning.....

For me would be the highlighter duo, I absolutely love it. Here's a picture of me wearing it with a bit of Nars contour.

I dyed my hair that color in college. My father stopped at Walgreens before we got home. He so knew my mother would flip out. I love it on you!!!! Mine would fade so quickly, maybe since I am a real blonde made by God....not sure.

Yes, my two fav color combos are shades of black/gray with pinks. I was thinking the new Smoky quad from Chanel with the new pink ombre might be pretty outstanding!!!! My new quad should be here tomorrow. I am also so thankful to have been allowed to come home from my recent adventure. I heard on the news about the firefighter being killed in the wild fire in WA today. I am pretty sure it was in the area I just came out of. Hopefully the wild fire season will end soon for all effected by these awful things.

Then it is hurricane season. So I go from fire to water.

My So Vain and Virgin Rose just arrived. Love, love, love So Vain, but Virgin Rose is just too cool toned for me to pull off. It's so beautiful.

 

That's too bad for VR, maybe you can mix it with something to make it work.

[COLOR=0000FF]My Pink & Plum Duos arrived, along with So vain and Casino.  Here are some less than stellar pics that I took during today's storm w/my iPhone [/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]Note, I used a MAC 215 medium Shader brush.  The top swatch is the pink duo OVER AW15[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]The left swatch below is Plum and the right is Pink[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]Same as above, just a little different lighting[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]Upon reading the box, the product is referred to as a highlighter and not a blush.  Is that  correct guys??  Clearly as you can see in my swatch w/the duo OVER AW15 yield amazing intensity & color pay off.  Since AW15 is an eye, cheek and lip product, I would think  the same can be achieved with the cheeks.[/COLOR]

That's all better now and I can concentrate on some fun stuff!! Looks like So Vain is a must. What the heck, might as well do Live Bruise too! Still trying to decide on Moodlight- I was totally into it in the preview pics but then I don't know why I hesitated. Now I'm afraid of skippers remorse... I'm happy to hear that most of you are getting lots of use from it- that's what has me thinking about getting it. Ashie- did you finally cave, too?

Trying to find the funds. Robbing Peter to pay Paul going on. Since Virgin is a "you can wait" I am close to finding the funds. I also am hesitant based on the possible new matte shades that might be released. Once I get through September, I can breath again. Need to get dog food. Forty pounds a week is a killer. Since my love of vamp would come before some the new releases shown right now. Would love to see a good swatch of Something Wild. So far So Vain, Something Wild and Love Bruise are my top desires. Showgirl can wait. I passed on it when it was a little Boy. I so know, how my life is, once I get the current lipstick new releases, there will so be a to die for vamp in the new matte release.

Sorry to hear about the challenges of kiddies. Little children, little problems. Big children, big problems. My Mama always said she would rather deal with 12 infants and toddlers at the same time, then ONE teenager, especially a girl. Gee, thanks Mama, I think I resembled that remark.

I just got my Moodlight in the mail last night and to be 100% honest I was like is this really worth $80? I wore it this morning and I am BLOWN Away. I have been looking for something like this since I started my love of makeup. It is glowy without being a disco ball, doesn't emphasize pores, fine lines, etc. All I'm wearing is a bit of bronzer of my cheeks and I took the darker color on top of that and the lightest color right on the cheekbones. Get it!!!

(Sorry that it's blurry, front facing pictures never look as good but you can see the luminosity!!!)

My mom said the same thing! I was a horrible teenager. My son at 24 still acts like one. :shock:
