I have never had issues in returning anything to NM or BG. Again, the reason to have a Product Specialist relationship. If purchased online, again, no issues. Just checked off the box, "changed mind". They will credit whatever payment you used. If it was a gift card, you get a gift card back.

Mascara grosses me out. That is why I always bring my own when they are doing a make over on me. Again, so SA's do care, others don't give a rat's butt. Another alternative is to give the lipstick to friend. It can be easily cleaned, and used by another. Provided it hasn't been used a boat load. As for shadow, blush, think of MUA's. They use their small store of goodies on all their clients. I would rather share then return. Unless of course there is something wrong with the product. Mascara and liquid eyeliner, no, that is a toss out.

I saw a lady at Nordstrom put a lipstick I returned back in the stock and I told her no, I HAVE used it although it looks new. I a lot of returns do go back in the stock pile and I was glad I saw her do that. Now I make sure they but the damage sticker on there before I leave to be sure they do not put it back with the stock.

TF quads don't work well for me for some reason, so I just don't bother with them. Another person mentioned the quads being weird with them as well on another beauty site, so it doesn't appear to be a big thing. I'd say just check your items before applying them especially if its been awhile since you've used it.

Doesn't NM online have a no return policy on used makeup?
As far as I know They do!! Only unused merchandise in the original condition can be returned!!
Just return it, they will take it back. It is Barney's who is so dicky. As well as TF actual website. I have returned stuff and had no issues through the online purchase. You can also return online purchases to an actual store.

You mean, even online NM?

TF online - can't return if used right? Coz AW15 runway color is really not growing on me. :-(

TF from TF website are a bitch to return. You have to call and get a RA #. If you have breathed on it, you own it. For NM online, just return, they have a free return label. Yes, it takes like 7 days to get there. Just check off "changed mind" for reason for return. So far, knock on wood, they have taken back everything I have sent them. Also I did try to hasten the return by using the 5.95 if it fits it ships box. I was in normal state of being serious broke. Yes, it got back to Dallas in 2 days, but it still took 7 days for the money to get back into my account.

Barney's is a bitch to return to also. The actual website of Dior, YSL, Armani, Chanel I have never had issues with returns, even if used.

Yes, used, hated them, color did not work. Yes, it was a one time try for the color. I didn't use them until the TF could not be seen. Again, no problems in returning a gentle used lipstick from NM online.

First Time was a relatively recently introduced matte so it would not have been sitting around for long in the store. I just went to smell mine and while it doesn't smell bad it does seem to have lost its vanilla scent.

I was hoping it wouldn't happen with the mattes but oh well. I won't be buying anymore TF lipsticks especially since I've fallen in love with Christian Louboutin lipsticks.

Oh no!! That is terrible...can you return it? I wonder sometimes how long the stock sits in the stores...
I called my Saks lady and she says I can return or exchange it this weekend! She's a really nice SA. It helps to make relationships with the associates in places where we shop frequently!

This is preposterous! There is NO WAY this should be occurring considering the amount of money we have invested in this "high end" brand! I have drug store lippies that have and still are withstanding the test of time!

I keep my makeup in a cool, dry and low lit area. This is so ridiculous! I'm not purchasing anymore TF lippies. I don't care how luxurious the packaging is!

Yes, that is exactly how mine is. It doesn't smell bad at all, but doesn't have the original vanilla smell to it

Just wondering where everyone prefers to buy their stuff online? Nordstrom, NM or Saks or? I find Nordstrom to have the friendliest service, NM is kinda in the middle, and Saks the worst - in my experience. I recently cancelled a purchase from them and each customer service rep had conflicting replies about whether or not my card was charged, and the cancellation email that never came. They were just so impatient.
