Chanel Rouge Noir Absolument - Holiday 2015

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for years and feel I "know" all of you. I finally decided to create an account as my Chanel lady gave me some news I wanted to pass on. I will be posting it in the Chanel Nail Polish section. Since some people might not think it's good news, I didn't want it to be my first post! I've been wearing Chanel since the late 1990s, but I also like Guerlain (those Holiday Ballz!), and a little bit of other lines.

This Chanel Holiday collection is gorgeous. I want it all, but my wallet says no. Still the quad, the illusion d'ombre, the blush, the darker lip gloss, will definitely find their way into my collection.

And I know from experience that you ladies will um, encourage, me along the way.

Here is a second sighting of Rouge Noir Top Coat. Thank you Haviggi for the first sighting! I wonder how it will look on top of Rose Fusion or Troublante...

Pixiwoo listed the price as 42 GBP, which is roughly 64.65 USD at today's forex rate. Since GB's pricing on Chanel items are not as marked up as that of Australia's, 64.65 USD - 70.00 USD should be the expected price range for this item.

Edit: Blargh! My brain is fried. I take back the statement on Chanel's price mark up in GB and AUS. Chanel's pricing should be the same across continents. I was probably thinking about other brands that are priced higher in AUS. David Jones, an AUS retailer, lists Infiniment as 90 AUD, which is 63.31 USD. A reasonable price for such a beauty, right? :D

Ok, thanks SO much!!!! I thought someone said $85 USD earlier but I couldn't find it.

I agree with you about bloggers not stating prices upfront! They probably want to lure us in with beautiful pics first to alleviate the sticker shock at the end!

I don't think it will be more than the UK converted price since theirs already includes tax and theirs are usually more expensive than the equivalent in US$!

According to asia.be.com, the Rouge Noir Absolument collection is a celebration of Le Vernis Rouge Noir's 20th anniversaire! The collection will be available on Octobre 16. Bigger mugshot of the Rouge Double Intensites. From left to right: 59 shocking pink, 68 plum desire, 40 light rose, 52 pink twist

Hmmm, my conservative estimate is late Septembre to early October for the US based on Pixiwoo's info that the product will be available in the UK on Septembre 18th.

I've been itching to buy stuff allllllllll day today, but seeing that this collection is coming out in a few weeks-- I'm trying my best to keep saving!

I think so too!! Going by the receipts, I am Pretty sure we got the spring collection by December first week!!
