I LOVE LOVE LOVE How Chic Is This! That's what actually convinced me to get Strutting Fabulous and Own the Look...I had never forayed into purples much, but I love how HCIT looks on me.

Yes!! My favorite ever MAC lipgloss (even though I never wear them) is Narcissus...Now if they repromoted that I'd buy lots of BUs. Good to hear about HCIT!
Which ones did you get? I got Strutting Fabulous and Personal Pick!Mattenes are live! Just grabbed the ones I wanted!

If you're traditionally not a lip gloss person, then you will adore HCIT even more...the Vamplify formula is so great!

I got those plus Own the Look, so almost all of them, lol. I'm going to have to go on a low-to-no buy until certain holiday collections come out, I think, and my Sephora haul will probably be tiny compared to other times...I've just been going nuts lately.

The Mac site is really being screwy 
The mattenes are listed as $22.50CAD (50 cents more). Fine, whatever, then when I go to check out I get charged an extra $1.11 on taxes. It's like it thinks there was a shipping fee (even though I used TXT code). So I refreshed the page after about 5 mins and it showed the correct tax.... Not great for those days when you need to rush through checkout before things sell out!!

Why does the model have bright purple eyeshadow on? i don't see any in this collection. Makes me want that shadow.

I kind of wanted Own The Look and the dark purple but after reading T's reviews I might pass. Always wanted Strong Woman though. They all got okay reviews.

I'm a little bit disappointed with MAC. I would have been way more sincere to lay off SUPER photoshopping, especially for the person talking about herself being enough....oh yeah, yourself is totally enough (after we get rid of almost all your wrinkles and make you look 20..you looking 40/50, not good...let's halve that). She's beautiful both ways, but it very much undercuts their message. And yeah, all the model shots were going to be photoshopped...it's how we roll nowadays...but they could have been a little more discrete about it, especially when contrasting with the getting ready shots.
