MAC Enchanted Eve / Magic Of The Night / Irresistibly Charming Holiday Collection (Oct 18, 2015)

Meeehhhhhhh :/ this holiday collection is very disappointing to me! I only like the packaging on the lipsticks but not really interested in any of the colors....the eyeshadow packaging looks like alluring aquatics without the drops and can't pull off either MSF colors.....never buy the kits bc I never use them but I think the packaging is hideous on it anyways! My god, I've been whining for a non-black holiday packaging for a few years and THIS wasn't what I had in mind :/

Wish i liked some stuff because i like the metallic cases on the Magic of the Night Colour Collection, but so far i'm not excited. I want to see those eye shadows!

I've never been big on the palettes, although that "warm" beige/brown eyeshadow in the Enchanted Eve Collection of palettes & bags has potential.

And i want to see more about the other pigment/glitter sets - purple and gold - in the Irresistibly Charming Collection of sets before i say yea or nay.

Still not very excited for this.

I might be snagging this. Been wanting to try the Patent Polish formula so this is perfect! I just don't get the ribbing on the bags. Would look so much better without it. :yuck:

I still don't like the packaging.

btw I've noticed that the pigment/glitter sets consists of only 4 vials this time! I wonder why.

I do like the neutral one so far.

I wish they would just drop out the glitters if anything. I've never had much use for them.

For some reason I thought this came out Oct 1st as well, but thankfully the 22nd gives us more time to breath. I've been waiting ages for Mac to release EDSF's!  ER lipstick for me and both EDSF's and I'll be on my merry way. Everything else looks like a snooze fest to me, and I'm really hating the packaging for the holiday sets. Hoping next year collections are more exciting.

Ditto! I'm only in it for the purple! lol I'm planning to just pick the lipstick color that will look the least awful on me (since none of them look like my kind of color) and swoon over the metallic purple bullet.

Now I remember, the packaging reminds me of a pencil case I had in elementary school, I loved it lol, it had that exact same ribbing I'm most excited for the individual shadows

Goodbye Kiss looks right up my alley. Wish it were a matte finish, but as least I like amplified cremes more than lustres or cremesheens.

Goodbye Kiss is pretty. I hope that's in one of the lip kits and not one of the kits with the Veluxe Pearl palette.

I mean it saves me money though, I'm not crazy about the triple-shade ribbon packaging on the lipsticks in the kits.

Agreed. I want the new lipsticks but I love the full purple bullets and I really dislike the triple-stripe. It looks like a cheap 90s thing to me. Like something that would have come with a barbie I got for xmas as a kid.

You could always just buy extra of the purple lipsticks and change tubes. Put the colours you want to use all the time in the purple tubes and the less used colours into the striped tubes. That way you get the nice striped tube colours in the purple tubes!
