Tom Ford Beauty Discussion

Unless they are berry/purple darker colors. I have trouble with picking shades with Mr. Ford. His lighter colors on me pull more orange/coral on me then they appear in the bullet. I love his formula, but his shades can be tricky for Pink Casper. As for the dents, to me, and I will own I am not a scientist, to have a dent like that it had to be twisted up in the tube, then damaged. Based on, if the cylinder of the container is smooth, even if the actual lipstick got loose, how would it get the mark??? OK, you brainiacs who I am in awe of, please share what you think.....It is not like butter softened is in a cardboard box that can be crushed. Metal unless sat on by Dumbo would not bend. To me this look like returns and resold. Which at least in Illinois I think is not allowed. Unless there is a seal that is still in place. Oh, the testers not being the same size. Love you dearly Ms. Monsy, but next time look at the size of the Chanel d"Ombre tester and compare to the size you actually purchase. The tester is smaller. I agree this is not always the case. But for some products it is. 

Oh no i am not saying they are always the same size but very often. And putting back on the shelf used or returned stuff happens daily in Illinois

My first Tom Ford purchase was two weeks ago. I bought the Moodlight duo illuminator. This is thing is amazing. I was so amazed with the illuminator that last weekend I went out and bought the Tom Ford perfecting foundation, mascara, concealer, and nail polish. I'm addicted!!!! Lol

You are hooked! He does have some amazing stuff. Not all of it, but there are plenty of gems.

Moodlight is really lovely and it's so easy to get addicted to these products. How are you liking the other items?

Yes, it is the Noir Collection with the special packaging. BD will be offered in the case that is black with the ridges. Great for dust to gather in....

I guess it will match with the perfume bottle but I prefer no ridges. I like the cases as they are. Don't need more dustcatchers.

I feel like First Time is too light for me. I understand; I like the formula so much but I used my Sable Smoke when I tried out CL Maya lip definer recently and it is not smelling good!

Same! My first TF lipstick is less than a year old and half of them don't smell very nice now
