I used a synthetic brush. Didn't think to use the applicator.

I've used both and both have worked for me.

I played with the display and it was about the same as mine, it's kind of crumbly and balls up on the brush. I did buy another one. So, I'll play around with them.

It was released in Europe! I got it and all i can say is amazing!!!I don't know if it was released in USA though !
