when did it originally come out? I wonder why I passed on it. I have to start keeping notes. LOL

I'm not sure when it came out but I've swatched Dark Side several times and I'll just say that it's very similar to Diva but Diva is more vampy red whereas Dark Side has a lot more deep, purple undertones.

Now I know why I avoided Dark Side like the plague... It's red... Well burgundy... But then again, I do own quite a few reds and burgundies... They're nice too... Might have to give them a try one day, when I'm feeling red

I love burgundy. I am tired of reds. I have way too many. My purple lipsticks are catching up to my Nude collection which is pretty large.

I think it is going to look fantastic.
Glorify is darker, much deeper, more copper. MOre like a ambering lights, orange gold, than a pale yellow gold. SOG is softer, and IMHO more wearable. Glorify was too much for me.

I agree, I think both of the EDSF's will look great.

Glorify was tooo much for me too! Sadly I could only pull it off in the summer with a deep dark tan but even then it seemed too much. SOG is a definite must have for me then!

I love burgundy. I am tired of reds. I have way too many. My purple lipsticks are catching up to my Nude collection which is pretty large.

I just have a mix of everything. Gonna have to count and see what colour I have most of

I'm going to go out on a ledge and say you probably have more purples and blue lipsticks.

It's similar but like I said it has a lot of purple, deep plum tones than Diva.

I, personally don't find Dark Side flattering. I always gotta be careful of lipsticks with deep plum tones because I tend to look sallow but if you can rock deep purples, then you'll LOVE Dark Side. It's a nice vampy alternative to Diva.

I'm so excited about the EDSFs, I've always wanted one. I would like to mix OD and SoG,they would look nice together. I hope ER is different enough from OTL.

This is so true. The cosmetics market is saturated with brands and instagram makes it so easy to check out colors from different brands. To be honest, ever since I got into colourpop, i have found so many shades that are close enough dupes of more expensive items. And they are only 5 or 6 bucks. So if i really want someting LE that has come out and miss out on it, I dont feel so bad. I figure that clourpop or some other brand will have something very similar.

That's how I felt about my reds. I had to whittle them down and get rid of some. I'm not buying anymore. I have mine sectioned off (red, purple, nude, other, pink, orange/peach/coral). I'm going to count them when I get home.

I quite like Media , but I don't know what it is about Dark Side that I seem to avoid. What's the finish on it????

I don't know where the hell they came from, and I'm not one that'll sport a red lip. I'm more purple than anything else in the world... Think I should change my signature soon...

I do have Goddess of the Sea from AA but that's one of my only purples so I doubt I already have a dupe...which is fine with me, I'd like to get a lipstick for the packaging so I'm glad there's at least one new one. Now I wanna go look up swatches on Temptalia to compare GotS and ER...besides the obvious finish difference.

Out of my MAC lipsticks I honestly only have like...two, I think. Ruby from the Pedro Collection (which I LOVE), and Fashion Revival from the matte collection. I'd like to get some more reds and burgundys now that I feel more comfortable in them...the one from the Brooke Candy collection was quite pretty but it'll probably be gone by the time I have money to get it lol.

I love Sparks or Romance for the one reason... It's got that glittery sparkle to it. Again, I rarely sport a red lip. If I do, it's for something formal and cannot turn up wearing something Poe-esque etc
