Chanel Rouge Noir Absolument - Holiday 2015

The highlighter is my favorite item. Here's a picture, I'm wearing it with a Nars contour.

I'm still contemplating the highlighter! Trying to have some control lol I keep hoping my tracking will update to tomorrow but so far everything's coming Saturday still. I can't wait to use the Illusion d'Ombre with my Lime Crime Venus palette!

When I would do my hair in that color it would look great for about week, then fade to carrot top orange, ugh.

Got two of the polishes today. The burgundy one is pretty, but I am pretty sure I already one that is really close. Need to check that out tomorrow. It is a yummy color, though. The drama of my life.

Yeah, it's tough out there in the makeup world! The IDO is super pretty, enjoy it!

Oh I went Haula Crazy today. I went to three stores with the collection. But I held out for Bloomies since they were having triple points. I was happy that they had it when I got there. I got:

-rouge noir glossimer
-highlighter
-rose fusion
-rouge noir top coat
-rouge noir le volume mascara Oops! I thought I bought this. I don't see it in my bag.
-ultra noir le volume mascara
-rouge noir id'o
``
from other collections:
-new brush
-Vert Obscur nail polish

Oh I'll double check but I probably wasn't charged the rouge noir mascara. My SA had a hard time keeping up with me.

I wanted to wear it tomorrow. Oh well. I will probably go back on Saturday.

Oh and I stopped at Bergdorf's, Bloomies and Barney's and they all had the collection. Bergdorf's had put a lot of the testers away. I had to ask to use them. I think the SA said the pink gloss was sold out. Wasn't really interested in it but I didn't try it on the lips so I'm not saying no way yet. She only had one of the rouge noir glosses left when I was there but I decided to take my chances and see if I could find it at Bloomies.

I left the Rouge Noir liner and Or Saffron but I will probably go back for them. The Bloomies SA said Triple Points was going on until the 25th. I did earn a gift card too. I will probably use it for the Rouge Noir mascara even though it won't cover the total. Oh and the SA told me the quad would be in the next couple of days. I don't know if that was a guess though.

I picked up the Id'O and the purple Lancome one tonight. I will try to swatch tomorrow or over the weekend. But I didn't think they looked anything alike.


It looks like Saks is doing the same. I was online about a month ago and a box popped up to order with a SA. The funny thing is, about 2 weeks before that, I live chatted to ask if I could give a SA credit for my online purchase. The CS rep said no. 2 weeks later, I see this option pop up. I feel like they were listening to me. I haven't tried it yet though.

Burberry has a purple IDO as well but I haven't decided if I want to get it yet.
