In this day and age of self-centeredness, sense of entitlement and a "me, me, me" culture, it is so refreshing to see such altruistic and kind gestures like those of you two. @GlamMomAngel, I received my code today and I am so grateful. You two truly rock!

People have to remember that such favors and gifts such as these are privileges and not a right. We should have an attitude of gratitude even simply for the offer itself. I sometimes get caught up in all the drama too (I'm looking at you MAC), but I try to keep my eye on what is truly important.

Sorry for the preaching! Seeing what's happening around the world and every day in people's lives puts things into perspective.

On a lighter note, I bought the MUFE 15 eye shadow palette, Verb Volume Spray and the Beauty Blender Set. I wanted to buy the Guerlain Ballz, but they are sold out. That's fine though. I am trying to spread out my spending more. Earlier this year I spent way too much $$$ on makeup and skincare, and I feel a bit guilty about it now.

Do you guys know they have a mini size of the nars creamy concealer? The things you find when you dig through the site (b/c ya know sephora can never manage to put new things under new arrivals).

So glad we could help people like you! I cant tell you how many franctic emails I've had to respond to within the past 24hrs. I did initially for fun, for the love of the beauty community. Ohhh I'm going to try some aqua creams, I always forget they can be multi use.  I also never knew which to buy, the LM Brightening powder or her translucent. You love the BP, my friend swears by the Translucent.  Maybe I sh ould do both? LOL  I want the KGD makeup remover.

I got my code late yesterday evening (Yahoo account). My cart was ready! You saved me a lot on my Christmas shopping.

Almost all the order was gifts. My items are the MUFE Ultra HD Foundation, the UDPP, the Bite 250 point trio and the Philosophy body wash. First time ever that I haven't ordered any holiday palettes or colour items for myself. I've been pruning my collection for a couple of years and I'm happy with what I have. I also need a replacement summer foundation (Bobbi Brown BB Cream) but for some reason they won't ship that one across the border. I'll get it in store during the VIB sale. I'm planning on getting a couple of MAC Huggables to replace ones I've finished and possibly a set of the holiday CSGs, but other than that I'm set.

NOt to be a Debbie Downer, or bring us back down, but I totally agree. So I'm very thankful and reminded that I need to get myself in tip top shape.
We just buried my Aunt on Tuesday. We found out she had lung cancer and it spread to her brain, spine and other places. Found out too late so treatment would not have helped. In August my friend literally collapsed and died. She just turned 48. You just never know what life will throw at you. Like they say, don't sweat the small stuff. Let grudges go, and take care of yourself.
