I placed my order for last years holiday collection around 6:25 pm EST. I still have the email confirmation so that's what I'm going from. I don't remember if I had been stalking for it or not.

The lipsticks are getting up there price wise, but remember they just raised the lipsticks to $17. So they are charging $1 more versus charging $1.50 more when they went for $16 regular to $17.50 for special packaging.

We've all been expecting this and it's been like that for years, as @MacGuy warned way back. The Archies lipsticks were $16.50 when the regular lipsticks were still $15. It just makes more sense for me to be more selective with what to get. No more dupes for colors I have tons of. Only special colors and sure flattering ones for me.

I agree I have enough colors I regret buying I am trying to stick with what I know works for me and I will wear. And the prices do make you think twice about how much money you're wasting.

I'll just stick to my Chanel lipsticks. I like them better anyway. And I have way too many dupes with Mac, so maybe it's time for me to be a little more frugal about buying their lipsticks now.

Actually that is not bad advice. I've seen very little creativity with Mac over the last 2 years. And, I already have more makeup than I could ever use in three lifetimes.

I missed Heroine when it came out the first 2-3 times. I swore off of mac for a few years and fell in love again with the RiRi collections and the final return of Heroine. Funny thing is I almost never wear heroine anymore. When I want that purple look I will grab KVD's LUV first. Candy Yum Yum was way too bight for me.

Nordies with that USPS shipping! I ordered some boots last week and they came by USPS too. I actually like that they deliver on Saturdays.
