I'm just disappointed in the amount of repromotes / perm items for the single lipsticks. When I first found that out... I was sooo upset! I feel like MAC's thought process went like this: "Why bother doing some work and creating new shades when we can just throw old shades in flashy packaging and people will still buy it anyway." and... they're frustratingly right. I'm not even thinking twice because I loove the purple packaging.

Yes the permanent items! Ugh. I hate when they do that too especially for a big limited edition collection like holiday, it takes the excitement out of it for me

Definitely agree. I have very little excitement for this collection honestly. The only saving grace for me is that I don't have Dark Side yet, so it'll be "new" to me.

Its really pretty, I put Venetian lipglass over it and its a very holiday like red.

I feel like Pink is the only color I can't wear confidently. I can do reds, nudes, deep dark almost black colors, but pinks are elusive to me lol I think my skintone is too yellow or something :shock:

I don't know why I don't wear them too much I think my personality is just much more dark shades lol or darker neutrals like Whirl and muted colors like Lime Crime Cashmere. Pink is a little too perky for me lol

I just called Mac and they said that the Magic of the Night collection is not going to be released online today and it will most likely be released Thursday, which is when they release most of their collections. And the lady said "I'm not sure where you're getting your information from but it's incorrect and either way subject to change" and then I spoke with her supervisor who said basically the same thing.. WTF?!?!?!?!

I just called Mac and they said that the Magic of the Night collection is not going to be released online today and it will most likely be released Thursday, which is when they release most of their collections. And the lady said "I'm not sure where you're getting your information from but it's incorrect and either way subject to change" and then I spoke with her supervisor who said basically the same thing.. WTF?!?!?!?!

I thought MAC didn't have phone service on Sunday.

I know blogger dates can be wrong, but they did say Oct 18

Counter launch dates should be the same nationwide.

Sometimes (rarely) Nordstrom will hold back a release for an event with other brands. I've never seen them do that with any MAC release.

I use corrector and concealer every day I wear makeup! got those grad school bags if you know what I mean.

Doing 32ish hours a week at work where I see clients as part ofm y program and then 16 credit hours on top of that. You will NOT see me without concealer! I think my second "deserted island" item would be really good chapstick and sunscreen. I THINK about the sun and get fried

Oh, i feel soooo silly that the first thing that popped in my head wasn't toothbrush or deodorant. I'm like yolo, I'll look cute from afar but stink to high heavens

My poor ABH contour palette orange corrector shade is GONE! The rest of the palette is pretty much intact, but that Orange shade gets me through! LOL
