Phew now i can breathI am sooo glad you love it. I was hoping you would . I am sure its a gorgeous nude red on you
I love this!!!! Challenge accepted :cheer:Ok so it looks like I have several takers for the challenge! Don't be scared, it only requires research. So for the back story.... This weekend while in training (Im going to be an artist soon ), we talked about some of the brands and the founders of the brands and how the brands came to be. Did you know the Urban Decay's founder was a surfer and the inspiration behind the brand was waterproof makeup? (Perversion is one of my HGs) So when I learned this, I thought this would be a great discussion piece in our forum. We makeup junkies spend a great deal of time and money on makeup. I thought that sometimes the stories behind the brand and owners would be so helpful and add to the experience we all love. So here's your challenge should you choose to accept it...
You guys don't have to answer the questions particularly. Those are just ideas to help. The main focus of the challenge is to have an understanding of the products and brands you spend your hard earned money on so you can be better informed consumers. ANd of course, help others learn something new! I'm accepting the challenge. Im interested in hearing all of the responses from you guys! Update you guys on my brand soon..
- Whats your favorite brand? (It could be more than one)
- Does your brand have an interesting story?
- Did your learn anything to enhance your experience?
- What would you recommend everyone to try( I know we talk about this daily in the forum but its nice to know what is a MUSt have)
which one? I will too. I didn't know eyeshadows were supposed to be this easy to blend.So...I bought another Viseart palette! Soon, I will own them all!!!! *insert evil laughter*
Thanks Vee, already got the blush palette from Nars, the one with 4. So no more! Maybe you can swatch it when you get it. :bigstar:NARSX Steven Klein One Shocking moment cheek palette, the sephora exclusive one...
Very lucky. It was so loud, I had ringing in my ear for weeks. That is so frightening! I'm glad you guys were ok. I never even thought of the sound of the airbag popping  :frenz:
It is divine!I need sephora to hurry up and release the stud e/s from the NARS SK collection! I'm getting a BU, that shade looks divine!
Both:eyelove:Yes Stud & Dual Intensity Blush!! :amused:
Yes the blush duo looks fabulous mixed together, I posted a picture way back if you want to see it.I'm contemplating the blush duo...it looks GORGEOUS when mixed together! Hmmm, at least I have time to decide. I'm so disappointed in the khaki green shadow (can't remember the name) I had high hopes...oh well
Thank goodness I'm not a red person! Not going to look.Speaking of enabling :lmao: Vee talked me into getting that new Tatcha Kyoto red lipstick :thud: :eyelove: I just got mine & it is THE most stunning red on! :bigheart: Its a medium (not a deep) true red with just a teeny tad of orange to it. GORGEOUS! Its super flattering on. Just google it, it looks great on everyone. Thanks Vee :frenz: whogetsmeintosomuchtroubleallthetime :haha: Oh, & all makeup companies could learn from the amazing extreme fast service from the Tatcha website!

For me it's easy, MAC will always have a place in my heart. I was working in the village(NYC), yes selling and doing makeup at the oldest pharmacy in the country, this was 1981. We had great brands, Dior, Lancome, Madeleine Mono, Il Makiage, Stendhal, Borghese and many others. When I first heard about MAC, it was only available at Bendels. Me and all my makeup friends ran as fast as we could to check it out. In those days there were 2 maybe 3 collections....a year! So it was a big deal. When they finally opened a freestanding store on Christopher st, we were all so happy as we were only a block away. I remember getting all the Taupe items, lipstick, blush/shadow, pencil, nail polish. No one had colors like they did at the time. Everyone knows the story behind MAC of the 2 Canadian makeup artists who started the company., the two "Frank's ". If I had to pick only one brand to use, it would still be MAC. I've been lucky over the years to find that nc15 almost always works for me, and I love their foundations.Ok so it looks like I have several takers for the challenge! The Bridal Satin palette! It fell under my radar at first, but then I saw Temptalia's swatches as well as a few IG pics and I fell hard!!!! It's has very soft, yet bold feminine shades! So far I have the dark mattes, neutral mattes and sultry muse! I need the brights and the cool mattes! Trying to figure out which one I was more out of the two! The ease of use with these shadows is everything!!!!!!!!!! It's hard for me to touch any of my other e/s right now! Which one are you eyeing now?which one? I will too. I didn't know eyeshadows were supposed to be this easy to blend.
So now I have to get these darn viseart palettes. totally blaming you! LOLThe ease of use with these shadows is everything!!!!!!!!!! It's hard for me to touch any of my other e/s right now! Which one are you eyeing now?
