Prior to placing my order on MAC's website, I called Nordstrom and preordered everything that I wanted from the collection and was supposed to go in on Thursday morning to pick it up. I received a phone call from them today stating that due to a Beauty Trend event being held at the store, that I wouldn't be able to obtain my order until November 12, however, the items are going to be held and guaranteed to me once I go pick them up then. When I preordered from them, I had been contemplating not ordering from MAC or any website that stocks the collection and I definitely didn't want to go to any stores on launch day without guarantee that I would be able to get everything I wanted, so I'm so glad that I decided to order everything that I preordered from MAC and that all of my items will be arriving between tomorrow and Thursday. I would have been willing to wait and get the items (and I still am) but it would have been a little difficult to have wait 3 more weeks to get them and not have anything in hand from the collection that I wanted for all that time! Fortunately though, this gives me the opportunity to play with everything and decide if I want to get backups without worrying about anything selling out while I decide.

haha I know, I saw that you said you got 2 and I went looking on the site and it wouldn't show up. So I grabbed my phone and for some reason it showed up right away on there. Oh well, just happy I can relax now!!

Sounds similar to my situation. I was told from my Macy's MAC girl on Saturday that my stuff was on their order sheet and she will call me for my card info. I still placed my order with MAC when it launched. I missed her call Sunday evening. Then suddenly yesterday she tells me that I can't pre-order those two items and I have to call in on Thursday to do a send-sale. Whaaat? Thank goodness I followed my gut and placed the order with MAC. I feel like human-error is more likely than computer error and I wasn't in the mood. Glad you're getting your stuff!

Yea I agree. I really thought it was gonna be more of a dupe for strong woman. But who knows, it might pull different on different skin tones. Mine is out for delivery today :pompom:

I only just bought Aria over the weekend after putting it off for years because I have Wet n Wild dupes...I haven't even opened it so I had no idea it was this similar to Acai.

Well if you decide you REALLY want another one and don't want to wait for a restock, lmk, because I have an extra and I didn't really need a backup. I just was going to give it to my brother-in-laws wife.

The only lipstick I ordered was Evening Rendezvous because it was the only LE shade. I hope it's different from Strong Woman but at least it looks different from Heroine. I can post a comparison swatch when ER arrives (next week). I'll wait a little more for Please Me, Moon is Blue and perhaps the pink lip bag.

I saw @makeupmoodz instagram today she swatched ER next to heroine but I still have not figured out how to post here so I let someone else do it :)

Hmmm well ER i'm not in love with, so I may have one to offer up. On the other hand, I skipped OD and am now having HUGE skippers remorse. May be taking a trip to Macy's when it gets there

I'm sorry to hear that you were told that you couldn't preorder those two items after you were allowed to preorder them in the first place. I know you probably would have been highly upset if you hadn't placed your order at MAC and just relied solely on Macy's to obtain the items you wanted, even if she allowed you to do a send-sale. Had I not ordered everything from my preorder online from any site that sold the collection in hopes to be able to get my hands on the items on Thursday, I would have been more upset, but since I did order from MAC, it didn't bother me too much except that I have to go in on a date that I mostly likely wouldn't have intended to (I don't frequent this particular mall unless I need to go to specific stores because I have a closer mall, but it doesn't have a Nordstrom). I'm glad you're getting your stuff too! Situations like these are why I always to go the online route first before dealing with B&M.

Click on the picture frame looking looking icon (it has two mountain looking peaks on it) at the top next to the film reel.

Evening Rendezvous looks more purple here in this swatch. Strange. I guess a lot simply depends on your skin tone.
