Sorry for going off-topic, but I have to share this because it cracked me right up... After being prompted ages ago by a friend, I finally got around to watching the BBC series Poldark. Just finished season 1, and decided to see what I could find out about the makeup used on the show, because they did a pretty decent job creating natural, period-appropriate looks for the ladies. So I googled "Poldark makeup" and this is legit the first picture to show up in Google Images.




I'll be tuning in for season 2.

[COLOR=EE82EE]  Isn't life grand!!!!!  I just got 2 vests, rain boots, UGGS, leggings and 3 new floppy hats, flannel shirts & tunics.  A Chanel lippie arrived today and hubs got the[/COLOR] [COLOR=EE82EE]  package---asked what it was---'Oh just [/COLOR][COLOR=EE82EE]nothing but some silly samples from Nordies" and it worked.  He resumed reading.  I've gotten nearly the entire Chanel & Guerlain[/COLOR] [COLOR=EE82EE]  holiday collections. [/COLOR] [COLOR=EE82EE]  I should take up knitting or something other than [/COLOR] [COLOR=EE82EE]to occupy my hands!!!![/COLOR] [COLOR=EE82EE]  What new clothes are you expecting???[/COLOR]

A black jumpsuit, a pair of ripped jeans, a long fall jacket, a star print midi pencil skirt and a large black leather tote. I ordered the first two together and then everything separately b/c I was trying to control myself, but I failed. :haha: I'm always afraid of missing out.

Not to take yet another thread off-track, but....

In addition to what I was calling "my last trip to Sephora" (which consisted of masks, my third Sephora Collection Diamond Eyeliner, and DL Naked polish), I cashed in my $195.50 in Ulta points in combination with the 20% off coupon.

The travel T3 and the T3 Volumizer Heat Brush (mixed reviews, but I'm not really paying for it and am curious) have now joined my full-sized T3 hair dryer to make $500 in high-end hair appliances I got for my points since July. BOOM.

Since I'm not thrilled with Sephora at the moment, I also took that opportunity to grab the replacement Clarisonic pedi smoothing disc and brush head that I was going to get during the VIB sale. Yeah, I just got the Pedi, but why not get at least 1 replacement at a discount?

This has been a rough spending month all around and it's only getting worse with buying holiday gifts for other people.  I have to say I can't keep the Lolita situation straight anymore.  There were 3 versions total?  And now there's a set with 2 and she's coming out with a permanent Lolita 1 and Lolita 2 or some nonsense?

Yeah, I got lost on all the different batches. I wanted the original Lolita so is that Lolita I? Then which one is Lolita II? The second batch or the third? They should just rename them all. Original Lolita, We Effed Up and Our Desperate attempt to put Lolita back on the shelves.

I've been getting slick with hiding stuff from my hubby too. I have his debit card and was so tempted to use it to order some stuff yesterday, but when I went grocery shopping today I threw a Sephora gift card in there. Haha. As long as I keep up with his work lunch and some good dinners I should be good!

Does anyone have Guerlain meteorites in the regular balls and the holiday balls? Which do you prefer? What's the differences? Are the holiday balls really worth $20 more? I know the packaging for the holiday is really pretty and there are cute little stars mixed in, but I'm asking about performance. I don't have anything from Guerlain and I don't want to blow $80 on something that people just like because it's new and looks pretty on the vanity.

Ripped jeans are the best. My dad always gets me, though b/c as soon as he sees me he says you've got a hole in your jeans and I look down. :lol: The trick is wearing all this stuff before it gets too cold and I have to wear a big old coat. That jumpsuit is the best. I have it in gray, but the one coming is black. I'd post a pic, but the site is down for maintenance. It's like a sweatsuit, but a soft cotton material. I could live in it.
