Really El? I said the same thing. Then my SA told me products were in and sent pics. So I stopped in to "look". Well, I picked up 3 of the quads. I knew they were permanent but I had them on the brain and knew I would end up coming back.
I got all the quads and the shade/highlighter today. I skipped the new Lip Shine, makes me look dead. As in a dupe for the Armani Runway collection that had the lipstick that was like ecru. Starry Night and Lilac are my fav. The new summer fragrance is beyond words. Got that too. Ramen noodles for the next two weeks, but I will be pretty.
Thanks. Glad I wasn't the only one thinking to get them all. Oh I have the highlighter on the brain now. When I saw it I didn't know what to make of it. It seemed odd so I figured I could think about it some more. Well, that's all I did on the way home. I'm so curious about it. I think I'm going to text my SA tomorrow.
The new fragrance is perfection!!!! The sparkle color in Starry Night is really close to the Dior Gray Fairy from Spring 2015, not sold here in the States. It is periwinkle, lilac, silver, just lovely. Honey Moon is close to Burnt Amber but not quite. The brown one is close to She Wolf. I can't remember the name of the new quad, ugh....This stuff is flying out the doors. It is like sharks in feeding frenzy at the TF counter. The new shade/highlighter is perfect for all skin tones. The lip shine seriously sucked unless you want to look like the walking dead.
My SA showed me the lip shine and said she didn't think I would like it but she used it on herself layered over First Time and another pink lipstick - maybe pink dusk? I don't know, it was something I don't have pink something. She wasn't enthusiastic about it at all.
Disco Dust is the one that to me is like She Wolf, but not quite. If you establish a relationship with a product specialist, they will take pre-orders for collections. But you must be ready to purchase the second they get in. If would like my contact, I will pm the info. Lilac is just lovely, soft pink, gray, lilac. I love them all. But if could only get one it would be Starry Night, then the Lilac one. But I love grays and purples. They make my green eyes pop. Honey Moon is the same finish as Nude Dip, and you can apply wet. The other four are his regular type quads. I would also run to get the highlighter,shade thing. It is a LE. The quads are not LE.
Starry Night is like Ice Queen with dark blue/purple and the cool periwinkle silver sparkle. Honey Moon is like Burnt Amber with leaning more to purple in the darker shade. Last Dance looks like the green of Sahara Haze, but they are different. The teal shade is really fun. Disco Dust is like She Wolf, Lilac Dream is like Lavender Lust with less sparkle. The one most different is Last Dance. It is also to me the versatile. You can go crazy or have just have a nice calm natural look too. To me if you won Burnt Amber, Honey Moon is not a must have. Do not get me wrong it is different. Burnt Amber was more red/golden bronze if that makes sense.
Again, the highlighter/shade thing is the must have. Hope this helps. Yes, I have preordered all the rest of the collection. Should have it next week. Look for me at Ohare. I will be playing the flute in the terminals for monies to pay for this collection.
You've convinced me. I must get the highlighter. I picked up Honeymoon. I didn't think it was exactly like Burnished Amber so . . .but I haven't compared them side by side. I think Disco Dust and Starry Night are the other two. Well, I got the other neutral warm one and the one with the blue shimmer. So pretty.
It seems that according to Really Ree only the highlighter contour duo is limited edition.The cream eye shadows are added to the permanent line along with the quads and the patent lipsticks
Good to know. My SA only knew the highlighter and shimmery lip color were limited. She said she hadn't heard about the quads yet but I knew they were. She did say she was going for training for the summer collection next week. She also mentioned the cream colors and lip products weren't in yet but would probably come next week.
