I got my Amuse Bouche in Lavender Jam and it's beautiful! If you love purple lipstick you need this. I'm not a purple lip fanatic, but I'll be rocking this one a lot.

As for the lip kits, there's a conspiracy that they are the same formula as the CP lipsticks, but they're not. I have plenty of CP to tell the difference. Maybe it's from the same people, but the formula is different and in some ways better. I feel absolutely nothing on my lips when I'm wearing the lip kit. You can forget you're wearing anything on your lips. Kourt K is a gorgeous, gorgeous color, too. I definitely had to have that and last week I bought Dolce K and one of those metal glosses.

Yeah that's what I heard.... not the same exact formula but same manufacturers etc. I still think they're hella expensive for a "nobody/no name brand" but at least the reviews are good on the quality.

I got Kylie's King K Metal on Monday and one of the glosses is being delivered soon. I figure trying one of each is good for now (I already have True Brown K). That metal is fyah! They are treated separately but made in the same plant in Oxnard, CA.

Girl it was brutal!!! I did respect where they were coming from because a lot of the trends are taken out of context and disrespect the true quality of the art! I definitely prefer the Makeup Show to IMATS. IMATS is now way too commercial, too many lines, too many youtube "celebrity" meet and greets.... just not for me.

That's my thinking, too. It's great that you get the liner+the lip color, but she could've knocked a few dollars off the price b/c she's a newbie. It's not a prestige brand by any means.

Me neither, I bought 3 Milani Mattalics and ordered some Wet N Wild metallic mattes a couple days ago but the vibrancy of the King K is different than the Milani. I'll see how the WnW ones are.

Except she's not a "nobody", come on now, she's a "Kardashian", that alone is why she can do it :rolleyes:. My issue isn't the price of the products, it's that $8 shipping charge and no Paypal thing. Super annoying. But the quality of her stuff is better than ColourPop imo. You get what you pay for I guess.

I've never been to IMATS but I'm glad I went to TMS and thoroughly enjoyed it. I bought early bird tix in March for the Ipsy one in September and I already know it will be like how you described IMATS to be. I think what makes it different is that TMS isn't for the general public. That's when it turns into "fanboy" city. Because people in the industry could care less about a YT sensation. They are about building their kit and absorbing as much info as they can get for their career.

The only way I justify the shipping is that it's relatively fast. Not as fast as melt, but not as slow as colourpop. The charge still stings, though.

It is fast, that I have to say. But so is Jeffree Star, actually he's faster for me and I think he ships from the same area...$5.95 always looks better. She's restocking Metals and Lipkits today btw. The site is getting ready now. I'm thinking about Reign.

I literally bought a The Lip Bar liquid lip called Bawse Lady earlier this week. I posted pics of it yesterday evening then that night I see the Smashbox one. lol.
