Natural matte that diffuses light sounds so perfect! Hope I can find a color match. Winthrop, let's hope they leave out sunscreen. I wear one daily anyway so really don't need it in my foundation.

Exactly. Anyone who's serious about sunscreen wears a separate one and when they add specific ones to a foundation they are just eliminating potential buyers who can't tolerate that ingredient, or doesn't like it in photos, etc.

i am also so annoyed about spf in everything. it's the american thing. europeans wear mostly separate spf when they need one

Perfection Lumiere and Double Perfection Powder Foundations will be discontinued. This foundation and the powder formulation will replace them. But to be honest I do like spf in my foundation. We will see.

This looks/sounds very much like their old 'double perfection' fluid foundation, which was discontinued years ago. That foundation went on like magic, it was so beautiful on my skin and when it was discontinued, I was really mad about it because the lady at the chanel counter never told me and at the time I went to purchase it, she talked me into a new foundation, which I didn't like. Then i went back so I could just buy my old favourite and it was gone. Long story short....this looks very promising and if it is, I will have to try and compare.

Thanks Monsy! In Live Chat they just told me the liquid does not have SPF (fingers crossed they are right) but they need to contact corporate to send me the ingredients for the powder - they did not know if the SPF in the powder was just zinc & titanium or if it has octinoxate or something else.
