[h=1]My beautys have arrived... Lipsticks LLAP and Where No Man Has Gone Before and Trip The Light Powders in Luna Luster and Strange New Worlds which I wore these both today
they arrived before I did my make up and they looked beautiful!! I'm gonna check out Highly illogical tomorrow in person.

Ooooh I love this!!! I haven't ordered anything from this collection yet because I just haven't been feeling that pull to spend $$, but this may change that!

I have to say your photo with the green background causing the casing to have the green metallic tint makes me think Alluring Aquatics, which was my very, very, very favorite collection ever. I miss it

My order was delivered yesterday, and I was super excited. Where No Man has Gone Before is even more beautiful than I expected. I love the color. It's a deeper color than I expected.
I was so stoked by the sight of Khaaannnn! that I broke it out this morning to try on. I used half-red liner and Yield to Love cremesheen (Novel Romance). And my God did Khaaannnn! pair amazingly well with them. I'm in love. I haven't been that moved by a lipglass since Talk Sexy. It has so much oomph. It is the best pink I've had since Hot House.
I'm contemplating a BU order of Khaaannnn! even though I have no $$$ for such silliness but I know I'll kick myself later if I don't order BU since it's Star Trek. I am planning to hit my Macy's tomorrow to see the collection in person to make sure nothing I'm missing that I want to order.
I do love/adore a fabulous purple lipglass. I haven't tried Warp Speed Ahead yet, but in the tube I wasn't left weak at the knees. I did do a side by side comparison to Wrong Spell, Talk Sexy and Modern Lure. Warp Speed Ahead is much more a pure purple. It doesn't seem to have the red undertones of Wrong Spell and Talk Sexy. It does have the glitter that makes it similar to Modern Lure. I wound up not loving Modern Lure as much as I thought I would so I'm hoping Warp Speed Ahead is better than that. I'm not lusting for a BU of that but mainly cause I have a BU of Modern Lure still to be used (and one of Wrong Spell that I treat like a museum piece housed at an English castle)
If anyone is interested in seeing Warp Speed Ahead side by side with the purples I mentioned just let me know.

So I received my Mac Cosmetics order and am feeling a little underwhelmed. I ordered the lipstick "Where no man has gone before" and it looked more like a gold/nude lipstick than a pink one. I thought that was weird, but since I tend to look good in coral/nude colors I'm keeping it. Although I wish it would have been pink.
Editut it on again in different lighting, and okay it looks more pink now on the lips. Satisfied with the lipstick.
As for the Powder "Strange new worlds" I felt like I had to practically scrape the pan to get color on the brush and onto my face. I'm a NC20, and here I was worried it was going to be too dark. Bleh. I'm probably going to use it a few more times before I decide if I'm going to return it. It also had a weird dry texture that none of my other Mac powders have.

Went to see the collection in person and get a few more items. I decided not to get everything I wanted because I bought a few items yesterday from other collections and it is just rough out here. Stuff is dropping all over the place! I think 3 lines are dropping collections on the same day next week. I can't keep up.
Anyway, I planned on 3 maybe 4 more items but got 7. So bad. Went to get green polish. Tester missing. The only tester that was missing. SA said "Someone stole it this morning." I think it was only 1 pm. Got a backup of Where No Man Has Gone Before. My kind of color and Mac site would not let me order 2 last week. Good for them but the one I got from the mac site is faulty and I may have to send it back. It keeps twisting down while I'm applying it. Really annoying. I hope they can replace it. I decided to try on purple lipstick. Some reviews said it was sheer but that's what made me think it might work for me. And I liked it. So I got that and the purple gloss. Swatched the gold gloss and it didn't look straight gold to me. Look like it had a shift to it so I'm got that too. I don't know how apparent it will be on the lips though. It looked like it might look good with the gold lipstick which looked a little flat on my hand. I passed on the gold lipstick for now because I did buy one of the new gold permanent lipsticks. I think it was the one with the green shift. Hey! That one may look nice with the gold gloss from this collection. Picked up the gold polish too. Looked a little bit more interesting than pics. Skipped the silver gloss and polish for now.
BTW Looked at It's a Strike collection and asked about Bowl Me Over and the SA said that tester had been stolen too. So funny. I remember going to stores and testers had been stolen but I haven't had that experience in a very long time so I forgotten about it. So Crazy.

I liked your detailed description of the products.
Why would anyone steal a tester- they have got to be filled with all kinds of bacteria/germs- yuck!

Hi there, got the Luna powder , these all look so pretty on your skin tone , I'm fair skinned too and I like the look of Highly Illogical for A/W , may I ask what shade is your skin ? I'm Fair to light with neutral undertones in summer and more fair with cool pink undertones in winter .

I'm basically the lightest shade in anything pretty much..... like in MAC NC15, NARS Gobi but yeah cool tones with a yellow undertones are usually the ones that suit my complexion better. I hope this helps you.... Highly Illogical isn't as scary as some swatches come across mine is a quite heavy swatch but trust me it's absolutely gorgeous you can wear it sheer depends on your preference. If you use a fluffy brush just tap it off and dab it on your hand a little then apply or use a duo fibre brush!

I don't think nail polish is. And really if they stole lipstick on launch day, it might not have ever been used. Plenty of times on launch day I was the first to use the products since I used to get there when the store opened. Those days are gone.

Hey, everybody! Nice to see you all! I've been away from Specktra for almost 3 months
I've driven cross-country twice this summer - from Berkeley to near Indianapolis, camping 10 days, and home in June, and then from Berkeley to an hour north of Pittsburgh, camping 16 days with 11,000 other people, and then home. I sleep in my van, but driving cross-country is still a little expensive. Plus i had to buy 4 new tires for my van! Ugh! That took a lot of fun money out of my life. So i haven't bought much from MAC for the past 3 months and i'm jonesin'.
I've got a bunch of stuff in my MAC shopping cart - from 4 collections - but i'm afraid to push the button because of $$$.
My wish list for this collection is:
Kling-It-On lipstick - deep purple with fine pink glitter;
The Enemy Within lipstick - neutral gold shimmer;
LLAP lipstick - icy rose champagne;
Definitely want K-I-O, but not so sure about the other two and i need to pick only one of them.
Warp Speed Ahead Lipglass - plum with blue and pink reflects;
Pleasure Planet Lipglass - muted gold shimmer;
Set to Stun Lipglass - light silver with gold pearl;
I've sworn off lip glosses, but i can't resist WSA. I will probably skip the other two - i have both Mirror glosses from Pedro Lourenço.
The Naked Time Pressed Pigment Eye Shadow - other shadows are too dark for me;
Luna Luster Trip the Light Fantastic Powder - the other two look gorgeous, but too warm and dark for me;
Skin of Evil Nail Lacquer - i had nice nails at the beginning of the summer, but, with all the hand washing i did camping and driving (i've read that gas pumps are the dirtiest thing one normally touches in a day - worse than anything in any bathroom), they got brittle and broke off... trying to decide if i should go for it or skip it.

I went and saw the collection in person today. I liked Luna Luster a lot but just can't spend the $$. However, I fell in love with Naked Time. Trying very hard to tell my heart to be still. I think I could get a ton of use from it but also trying to figure out if Pure Flash (which I have) is similar enough. Still leaning toward a BU of Khan! (sorry still not sure how many As and Ns to add to spell properly). If someone could recommend a good dupe, I would be interested in hearing for both products.
