Hmm... my order shipped but looks like I won't be receiving any of the items I ordered from this collection because they are marked sold out. This blows. At least I'll still be getting the Star Trek stuff I ordered.

If it shipped out you should be getting them unless you've received an email from MAC stating otherwise.

Thanks! Hopefully I'll get my package soon and see which item I've received. If I actually got what I ordered and the collection is still around I might order TG.

Thank you for the heads up. I was able to get both powders. i really wanted TG but dont know if they was gonna mix it up like MAC did.

It absolutely doesn't work this way in France. They just send you your order, and then you'll see that on the packing list, it's noted out of stock, and they will refund you automatically the difference. Which seriously is VERY annoying. I didn't even get a mail telling me it's shipped out, I had to manually get onto the website to check.

Same mix up happened here in Canada too! Thankfully they are shipping out the real HTT to me next week Just give customer service a call and they should be able to fix things. Mac is aware of what happened.

Nope buddy! I got the lighter one labeled as taraji glow Called Mac and they offered a return label is all. The product itself is wrongly labeled meaning the lighter one is taraji glow as per the label too! So I guess I should be ordering the other one when or if it comes back in stock??

Did an online chat with CS. They said that it's a known issue, took my phone number, and said someone will contact me next week with a resolution. Wuuut?!? And other people are being told to return the item? Madness all around.

So basically she told you to 'Suck it up, Sweetie?' MAC has to know by now that it made a major mistake. They have a record of what was ordered and should be sending out the correctly labeled product free of charge to customers (yes, I know that I am dreaming) before they try to sell any more. I just checked the MAC USA site and the MSF's went back to being out of stock instead of coming soon.

Yeah pretty much. I wish they would do that but like you said.. most likely not gonna happen in most countries. You'll probably have to send the product back, get a refund and you'll never see the product you wanted.

And I feel really bad for Taraji, this situation reflects so badly on her. Way to screw things up again MAC..

Yeah, this mix up looks really bad for MAC. I am even questioning whether HTT was really sold out our maybe they stop orders on it because of the big mixup. I really wanted TG. I really can only afford one right now but I ordered both. If I don't like HTT I'll just decided whether to put it on here for the original price or ask my sister if she wants it.

I just swatched both MSFs and they are even better than I expected!! Each one is beautiful and nothing like my other MSFs! I'm telling you, when MAC gets a product right, they hit it out of the park! The lipstick is also a little darker than in the pictures I saw online. I'm in love

I just ordered both at Macys.com. I wonder if the MSF's will have their proper names...we'll see!

Both of those went super fast if I recall. I'm not too sad about missing Taraji Glow, but I am still kind of kicking myself. I ordered HTT though which is what I REALLY wanted from the collection so I'm happy. If it had been that that sold out I'd shed a tear. Lol

NaomiH, you may well get Taraji Glow anyway as I ordered Taraji Glow after giving MAC a rest for a while now and just received a package labeled Taraji Glow but the actual content seems to be Highlight The Truth. At first I was disappointed thinking maybe it was the website just showing TG darker than it actually is but then I decided to call MAC and they said everyone who ordered got the wrong thing. MAC will get back to me but if they are sold out what's the remedy? Hmm, MAC seems to experience this quite a bit. Now we know why Karen's swatches both looked the same.
