Seems like the price on the Tarte Blush Color Wheel is low, so it has to be made in China as well. I don't know why I thought the Big Blush Book and the Color Wheel would be any different than their regular holiday blush palettes or the mini individual blush sets, which are always made in China. :(

Someone posted on IG that the pans are not regular size. Bummer! It is much cheaper than the BigBlush 2 palette. I'll probably buy it anyway. I took the BigBlush2 on a trip. (it was super big but I figured it would be a good chance to try it.) I was quite happy with the colors and performance. I do like that the blush pans on the BigBlush2 are removable so once I know my favorite colors, I'll just take them out and put them in a palette the next time I go on a trip. I don't know if this holiday palette has removable pans but suspect it doesn't. I don't know much about the made in china issue.

I wonder how that goes with tarte not testing on animals and now making stuff in china?

I wonder that too. ABH does the same with their glow kits.

AFAIK, the animal testing laws there only apply to products sold there (or did? I know there was a change made a few years ago but...), not products made there. That said, they aren't the only ones with cf status who have products made and manufactured there, and personally, I do see the weirdness in that.

Back from the Holiday Event and it was ho hum. They had a display of holiday stuff but only one had a tester. I only went to test the products and see what they looked like in person. The too faced box looked interesting from the photograph on the back of the box because that was all I could see. No Tarte Blush palette in sight. They only had a tester for the Stila highlighter set and it felt so buttery but the colors were just okay. I did kind of like the kitten one though. Only 2 bite beauty mini lipsticks were on the display. I'm assuming they went quickly. An SA came up to me and told me they were putting the holiday stuff away if I wanted anything. I guess the event was over. It was a good thing I didn't come later like I planned or I wouldn't have even seen the holiday boxes. I did end up picking up a bunch of Sephora Collection eyeliners. They had a bunch of new formulas. Well new to me anyway. I just loved so many of them. But . . . I'm kind of regretting it. I need money for Victoria Beckham next week. The eyeliners could have waited. I can't keep anything in my head. Oh well. I hope they look as good on the eye as on my hand. Sometimes the subtle nuances in color don't show up on the eye. We shall see.

@DILLIGAF They had a Sephora matte liquid eyeliner in a Burnt Orange Color. Different from the peach one you were looking at from Too Faced but it made me think of you when I saw it. More suited for fall too. I may go back for that one.

@JerseyGirl I went to the Yonkers, NY location and they had the Viseart palette! If this little store had it, I'm sure some of the midtown stores would have it too. I'm going to midtown next week to check out the Victoria Beckham stuff so I might stop at a Sephora if I'm not too pooped. I'll keep you posted.

yes I know that they don't sell there from what I recall but it's still a bit contradictory when they are themselves against animal testing but allows some production there. in my opinion it's (basically) as bad as mac that everyone keeps bashing on all the time but they buy for example ABH kits themselves or tarte or whatever even though it's been produced in china. I do wonder if the ingredients has been tested way before on animals in china either way even though like ABH isn't part of the animal testing at their factory location.

Snagged the Laura Mercier palette. I missed the rouge event this morning because it would be too much to ask for things in my life to go right, but the associate was nice enough to put one on hold for me! The Estee Edit set was nice too but I really wanted this bad boy

:yess:I ordered it too! In the end, I did not get to go to the in store event. However, I was able to order online (literally mere minutes after the in store event was ending), still get 4x points and the giveaway bag! ;) Win win to me...no driving, waiting in line and being disappointed in store.

I just could not resist this palette! It looks fantastic in your pictures! Just the perfect size to me...All the full size highlighters I have will take me forever to use up! Yay yay!

It's gone from the site now! People really bought them all, huh? I was waiting to see swatches on dark skin before I made a move, but I guess that's moot now.

That's annoying. Fingers crossed for a restock for you! I'm really bad at predicting what will sell out and what won't these days.

I was also waiting to see swatches on darker skin once people started to receive them but I saw that it was removed from the site when I checked earlier today. Since it's supposed to be in stores in October, I'm sure they'll be restock online again.

Went to the event bright and early with a friend of mine. I think that's why I enjoyed myself. I didn't find much of what they had on display for the holiday collections to be exciting. That doesn't mean that I left empty handed. I purchased the Bite Lipstick set, MUFE lipstick and another Bite Amuse lippie. I also grabbed a mini Tatcha Classic Rice Enzyme Powder in the aisle of doom. I think I will be attending the next event because the friend that I went with wants to go.

I went to Sephora yesterday to specifically look for the liner you mentioned and I found it. Ended up swatching all of the colors as well. I ended up with the Army green one. I will be getting the one you mentioned as well. I liked the Sephora Collection one than the one from Too Faced. It's warmer and a better fit for my complexion. Thank you for the suggestion!

I hope it even ships... Maybe they'll cancel my order. I'll need a 25,000 point
compensation lol

It looks like it's in stock under their regular Becca highlighters.

My Becca Rose Quartz arrived today. Very pretty! I wore it layered over Black Up Sublime Powder #5. I'm NW45-ish for reference, so it definitely brown girl friendly.

I went to the Sephora event last Saturday, and it was pretty good. It was the first time I've been to one, and my mom was in town so I was able to bring her as my guest! We enjoyed being able to shop in a less crowded environment, and everyone there was hyped up and super friendly so that made it fun too.

I didn't buy any holiday sets lol. I thought about the Bite set, but decided against it. I DID end up purchasing one of the NARS fall dual intensity eyeshadows (that gorgeous rose gold one) and a MUFE lipstick in C105. I'm so glad y'all were talking about those MUFE lippies or I never would have even looked at them. I've been wearing it every day and love it. It's gorgeous with Buxom White Russian on top too.

My mom got a couple living proof products and the new Bourbon scent. I almost got Rose rollerball but decided against it.

Oh, and when I got home, I ordered the new YSL highlighter. OMG y'all. It is seriously gorgeous. I didn't buy it in store but regretted it and ended up ordering it on Sunday. The texture is insane. Seriously, you have to check this one out if you haven't already.

I saw on the Sephora forum that someone got a YSL oil in stick lippie trio, but I can't find it online and didn't see it in store either. Too bad, because I would have snapped it up for sure. Has anyone here seen that trio in their store? I believe it had beige blouse (not sure if that's the name), corail a porter, and st Germaine in it.

Becca's Rose Quartz. Not my finest swatch, but things were a little awkward. My male coworker let me swatch this on his arm in exchange for a KitKat.
