I have said it before: they forgot to create a Spring collection, so they launched the summer collection for spring and the fall collection for summer and somewhere along all that, they forgot a holiday collection so they launch whatever leftovers they had as some weird in between collection. and no holiday collection.

I'm so late to the party on this collection because I was obsessing about the Suqqu fall collection, which also features a red e/s. I think the Chanel quad will work better for me though. What can I say -- I love mattes! Here's the Suqqu, which is now sold out:

Is Ultrarose even Roseatall? Doesn't look like it on my monitor and Temptalia calls it a warm red.

On the color swatches on Chanel.com Ultrarose looks completely different. So confusing!

Only if the rose is a brighter coral I wouldn't consider that rose.

Where do you get Suqqu in the US?

Selfridges carries Suqqu, and they ship to the US (shipping charges are pretty up there, though -- $30. Which is down from their previous $40, but still!)

There are also other sites that sell Suqqu. The most known one is probably Ichibankao.com. It sells products at a markup, but that markup includes shipping.

I actually asked her how they compared the same day I first posted here about her calling it a warm red (9/25) and she posted my question without answering. She may be looking into it, who knows. Either way at this point I feel like I've spent enough of my time on it.

Oh geez, I meant to post this in the Chanel Fall Collection thread! Sorry! I'm in love with the Inks and am looking forward to this collection as well! In fact I'm loving many Chanel things lately.

Thanks shellygrll for answering boschicka's question about where to buy Suqqu. A few other places carry it but I trust these two the most.
