I did a live chat with belk which was a waste of my time. She gave me the technical difficulty bs but would not confirm if the lipsticks and shadows would eventually be released. She also said that belk will announce on twitter when items are available which is more bs. All I've heard from belk twitter is crickets after that copy pasted statement. So I decided to call and the girl said the lipstick and eyeshadows will be available as soon as they work through the "technical difficulties" and that if we were charged shipping yesterday to call customer service and they will fix it.

They actually responded to my Tweet, it's above. All the same responses though. MAC gave me the same reply yesterday about their restock.

Thanks to everyone for explaining the disappearing act at Belk. DANG! I have learned my lesson. If I want to $#%! with getting something from Mac from a very anticipated collection, the presale needs to be when I get it. This is pure madness.
What I am going to do is put this collection stalking to rest and let MAC know that that one item limit for select members and pros was BS. If anything it should of been the other way around. Again, I am happy they are realizing that they need to change things to keep customers but there is still plenty of room to improve.
On a side note, I llllooovvveee me some Aaliyah. I will definitely take part in stalking for some items in that collection. But I wonder if it would be just as insane as this collection. Will her fans come out and loose their marbles to snatch anything from her collection? I have seen Selena fans just get the eyeliner and caption, "I didnt get what I wanted but I just had to get something from this collection. #anythingforSelenas. Lol. Selena fans GO HARD FOR REAL!!! I have never seen Mac put out a collection AND EVERYTHING is sold out. No chance of ever getting anything from the CCO with this collection

Re MAC, yes, if you get the option of a presale, do it. I still don't get why ppl didn't? Well $ I understand because I don't always have it when I want it for makeup, lmao! But other than that, leisurely (somewhat) shopping before the masses is so inviting to me.

Actually it is beyond ridiculous! MAC so completely underestimated how popular this release was going to be...yet managed to overproduce every other LE release this year...Trolls anyone?! Vibe Tribe?! Fail fail fail! Then like dominoes the 2ndary retailers fail, pissing everyone off! Hey how about all those "freebies"they managed to give away to promote the collection?! AND someone else said it and I completely believe it...there are some MAC MUA with no ethics! I am not saying all...but there are definitely some price gouging and reselling for their own benefit! Complete and utter fuster cluck! Okay...enough venting...

I was on that pre-sale like a hawk for the lipsticks bc that's all I wanted, but then I started to see more swatches of the gloss and decided I needed it lol and by then the pre-sale was closed/sold out. Definitely glad I got my lipsticks though! I totally feel like I wouldn't have gotten anything without the pre-sale

Oh well yeah, that's different, I totally get that. I placed 3 orders during the pre-sale because I kept going back because it was so effortless, hahaha! After the shipping charge stupidity it was good. Then after it closed I decided I wanted the other lipsticks Now I may want MMB.

Ok, truth: I never knew Aaliyah until after she died... But I get the appeal, I think she was a bright star and on her way to becoming something really, really big... I hope Aaliyah fans get their collection and not a Fuster cluck like Selena did.

As a Selena fan, I am pissed at the way this launch was understocked and handled. I did get my three ítems and didn't really bother trying for the rest after all the madness ensued.
