Just compared OD with the new WoG and OD pops more, it's really gold and seems more pigmented and WoG does have a peachy tone that isn't translating in pics. Everyone there thought I was crazy when I wanted to see if they were the same because they said they aren't. One MAC girl said WoG is better because it's more finely milled and cost more to make. I'm still trying to get better pics.

Good you def confirmed it for me. I'm happy I cancelled now. I decided I neeed to slow down. I got me a apple phone case for my iPhone 7 plus that comes today instead lol

I feel ya...*sighs* I told myself I need to go on a low buy cause I have been spending way too much but MAC just keeps releasing stuff I want...And I haven't even factored in Black Friday Sales yet.

My Black Friday buying has traditionally been gifts for the kids. Electronics, etc. I don't really do much makeup then.

That doesnt sound good.. Well at least I like last years oh darling (shaft of gold is more dailyfriendly for me)should I go though IG for swatches or I just wait till I receive my package and be half disappointed because I still like the blush shade in this compact. And I only paid 10 dollars soo. But its strange because last years got a different name while it looked similar but not the same and this year they decide to name WoG but its not the same or too different.

I was saying the same thing. It didn't make sense to me for them to change the color then call it WoG when they could have just called it something else like they did OD. Anywho, either or, it's pretty and slightly different from OD and I also like Pleasure Model. I love Shaft of Gold! That one people didn't initially chase down like OD but I love it.

I'm going to swatch some items tomorrow (when I pick up my WOG) - I need to see how they look on me before/if I do a haul. The lipsticks look nice but I probably have dupes of them. YumYumYum and Sweet vision are possibilities. I may pick up another WOG because I missed it when it launched way back when and I have to find my Oh Darling (lost somewhere in my house). Nothing else is calling to me but maybe if I go to the counter......I also need to save for other MAC collections coming up as well as sales from other retailers.

If you did your presale at Macy's, they still don't have Sweet Vision or any of the single items. I was just there. They may get it tomorrow though, who knows. They also don't have any WoG for sale tomorrow, they were all pre-sold! She said most of the stores did the same.

Oh...yeah...that...Has anyone else noticed how Black Friday has turned into Black Friday Month?! I swear the sales come hard and heavy 2 weeks into Nov and go until 2 weeks into December...and tbh I find that the better sales/discounts do not actually land on Black Friday!

You are right - I do find better sales at other points in time but there are certain companies every year that have amazing Black Friday only deals that I stash away money for...

Yeah it's crazy, you're practically shopping the whole month of November right up until Christmas with sales! Jeez! I do get the best ones for kids toys and home stuff on actual Black Friday though, online because ain't nobody got time for lining up irl .

Just got my order of Yum Yum Yum & its yummy looking on the skin Its a very pretty healthy straight up pink shade but soft & pretty on the skin. I used yum yum yum on the apples of my cheeks & up the higher part of my cheekbone & a little of Sweet Vision in the hollows of my cheeks & its super pretty

Yeah I take her ratings with a grain of salt. I like her for comparisons and how she describes the products, but the swatches don't help me because we're not the same skin tone and I don't always pay attention to the rating or really use it to determine if I try something or not. I did hear the formula is different in YYY by another YT'er though, not as pigmented as SV.

Same here! Ugh It is a softer blush than SV, but I didn't have any issues with it at all. I got a lot of pigmentation out of it. I used the Mac 109 brush. Its her...

She doesn't like A LOT of products that I end up loving & not having any issues with. Yep, I am very happy with it.

I basically think if you build up WoG, it will look like OD. Two swatches of each and WoG looked more faint, I added 1 more on WoG and it looked the same as OD. And sheered out on the face you won't be able to tell anyway. Outside and in the sun they were totally different and I definitely saw that peach undertone in WoG but then it would look almost like a gold-bronze at the same time!

Very helpful I think they look different...now, are they different enough that I need both? Maaaaaybe. BUT I preordered the compact from my MAC store and I'm unbelievably excited!

Does anyone who ordered the Sweet Copper when Nordies had it on backorder last week and it wasn't cancelled have their order as "Delayed"? This thing is stressing me out lol. I'd be so annoyed if I pass on ordering it from a store tomorrow only for them to cancel it after the stores are sold out (if they aren't already).
