I skipped them b/c I knew I wouldn't use a few colors in each palette, so for $80, not worth it.

I think I'm going to as well. I have alot of stuff already and I'm not too thrilled with the first ingredient being Talc for an $80 price tag. For $80, the product should be innovative LOL

That is really weird. I remember some time back another specktrette had a similar problem. Sephora was blocking their account but every time they called CS they were told nothing was wrong with their account. *smh* I have the same problem with Ulta online.

What's their problem???!!!

Perhaps I'll try after the sale, like after they refund the money or next month or so.

WTF is right?!? I'm sorry lady! Sounds like they may have made a mistake with flagging your account. Being the way I am, I would demand to talk to a manager and get it sorted out! :mad: I do hope you can find a resolve quick!

That was ME! After multiple calls of being told there was nothing wrong with my account - I am the one who figured it out... and then they confirmed it after a lot of investigating..

It was during the F&F last year.. and I got two codes. I made one order - it went through.. Then I made a second order with the other code.. and it flagged my account. They said it was only blocking me from using another F&F code.. And that turned out to be true!

I haven't had any cancellations since.

Called CS and they said I can continue to shop with the same address, make another order, no problem.
So I placed a small order to check and it was cancelled the same way (seen thru Sephora.com, no email).

That is messed up. If you go on Sephora's beautytalk forum - there are a lot of people who are getting their orders cancelled too. People are mad.

I would say to call but I am sitting on hold with them now (trying to charm them into letting me make an order with the VIB code).. and even the Rouge phone line has a LONG axx wait. Geez!

EDIT: Maybe post your issue on the beauty talk forum... consultants are responding to those posts... and telling people they are sending them a private PM..

Wow!! I've made orders with two different codes before and had no problems. Happy to hear you got your account sorted out in the end though!

Yes. I really think the flagging system is flawed though.

I have read people on beautytalk say they are no longer allowed to shop online (only in-store), because they "abused" the promo codes.. (ie, used the same one multiples times) or they made multiple orders within a short time span just to get more free products with the promo codes.. I have done both and not been flagged for it (yet lol).. So it seems inconsistent.

And a lot of these people who say they're banned from online shopping are rouge too! (if I was rouge and they pulled that on me - I would stop shopping there..that's messed up!)

I think Sephora is wrong for doing this. They shouldn't punish someone when their site allowed them to use a code multiple times..

From what I understand - they use a 3rd party security company that monitors shopping habits (returns, multiple use of codes, etc).. and they flag accounts..

Can you try thru Facebook again and maybe ask them to give you a phone number to call? That is just ridiculous!


I called earlier and that's when she gave me the all clear to order :/

Oh, you're right.. She did have an issue with that.

Now that I think about it - I don't think I posted all my drama on here.. I just posted something brief, then PMed people who have had their orders cancelled.

Me too.. and if they did shut down my ability to shop online because of it.. I will go to Nordstrom, Macys.. or the brand's website.. I would not shop at Sephora anymore, because that is b.s. They need to tighten things up - if they don't want us double-dipping or doing something.. and if they don't, it is their fault for not restricting it, not ours.

Especially if the code works. Sometimes when you try to use the freebie promo codes more than once, it will tell you that the code was one-time use or that you can't redeem again. This would all be solved if they just gave us free GWP items instead of having to cash in useless points and using codes for things that should really be straight up free. I believe if I'm VIBR, I should be able to add a free deluxe sized sample to my cart at least once a month without all this drama. I also feel that if they're not going to let you use more than one code at a time, the 20% coupon should automatically show up in the cart once you're logged into your account.

Whelp, I made two separate orders in hopes of getting extra samples. My orders are still processing so I really hope that one isn't canceled. Ya'll got me scared. :)

I thought I'd share what I got. I ordered for the first time ever the Josie Marian matchmaker serum foundation. I've tried some samples from the store and am super excited. I got Bare Minerals Mineral Veil and foundation in the deluxe super sized version. I ordered two MV last year and still using the second. I ordered a single foundation and still using that one (I was unemployed for several months in the spring so wasn't using as much makeup hence why lasted longer than normal).

I got a small $10 bottle of the Philosophy Purity facial cleanser. (plus 20 percent off) I got a Christmas ornament version of the Josie Marian with cleanser and some wipes. I ordered two batches of the coconut Sephora wipes, which is my go to now after Korres went and cheapened out their pomegranate wipes and made them thin as toilet paper.

So my staples but a few new things to try. Really been wanting the matchmaker serum but waited for the discount. I'm excited for my purchases. Probably ordered more cleanser than I needed. I'm just now using my 2015 birthday Peter Roth cleanser LOL

I wanted something Boscia or Ole H but didn't find anything that had to have. I'm saving to buy my moisturizer for the $20 off coupon that I hope we get in December.

YES, YES, YES...ALL of this!!!!! I agree! Worthless points & crappy samples. :bam::thankyou: You should send this to them :)
