For $36 I want to be wowed and these just didn't cut it. Maybe the creams are better?

I took my tube out of the box. Took a peek. The color was meh to me. I didn't even bother swiping it. I put it right back in the box. The first thing I thought was...WOW! Tiny...and my second was, Gees I wear my UD Vice lippies on the daily and love them. I know I can find a color similar (or even 2 for the same $36 bucks) and love it in the UD formula. Oh well.

I have only 3 TF lippies and I won't get anymore because of the going rancid issues people have had recently. They are too expensive to go bad so quickly. Unless you love the color and are going to use it a lot it's not worth it.

Wow! I am having no issues with mine! Love the formula and the shades I chose. I don't find them drying at all and I knew that these were minnies to begin with, so I'm okay with that. Thomas, Jared and Anderson are real beauts!

Same here! I'm glad I only wanted one this time lol I told myself I have "close enough" dupes for Cristiano and Nicholas.
I already had five from two previous L&B launches lol

I am glad I am not the only odd duck out on these. However I am still all in for a TF e/s quad in the near future...AND Tati gave a nice review of the Warm Palette! So...Come on! Give us another sale! ;)

Hey ladies! I got three of the boys, and have one more arriving today. Here's a photo showing them all on me. Top left is my natural lips, top right is Elliot, bottom left is Ashton and bottom right is Christopher. I love them all. I wore Ashton yesterday and it didn't settle in my lip lines at ALL and that's a huge issue for me! It also didn't bleed at all. I tried Christopher the day before and it wore the same way, very very good. I haven't tested Elliot for longer yet but he seemed just as good as well, just not as opaque since he was more metallic/shimmery. I have douglas arriving today as well :) For reference, I have light skin with neutral olive undertones. I am a perfect match right now to MUFE's 225/marble in the HD liquid, and Buff 210 N stick from Lancome.

These all look great on you but I like Ashton the best. I too bought Christopher but it's too brown for me. I'm Armani Luminous Silk #4 - pale w/yellow undertones.

Beautiful! And I appreciate the naked lips photo too. Does Ashton have glitter that remains as the color fades away?

Nope! I would describe Ashton as a creamy opaque lipstick which starts with some shine and looks more matte as the day passes, no glitter or shimmer in it at all! Same for Christopher!

Only write it down if your lips arent too pigmented! I got Douglas and had to return him. He barely showed up on my medium pigmented lips! And whatever sparkle color there was, it settled into my lip lines within minutes :(

:doh: Crap, they're quite pigmented :( I'm going on a wine run LOL & some Christmas shopping tomorrow so I'm going to see if anybody has these. Thanks my dear!

LOVE! You look stunning in all of them.

I've been trying to avoid these, because I rarely reach for my old L&Bs but... some of these colors are calling to me. And they're on Sephora. -_-

I'm really happy with Douglas (on my pigmented lips) and Jake. I sent Snowden packing because he left glitter bits all over my lips and I can't stand that. TF is still my favorite lipsticks, provided they don't go rancid. I think the general conclusion is that it's the brown-based regular formula colors that tend to do that so I'm going to stay away from those in the future.
