In the past, the Wertheimer brothers, who own Chanel, owned a roughly 20% stake in Ulta. It's unclear to me if they've completely sold their stake; I see in 2012 they sold a large chunk but not all. The Wertheimer brothers also have a Chanel EVP, Charles Heilbronn (he might also be their half-brother?), who sits on the board of directors at Ulta. But interesting it's still carried in Sephora EU..
I'm just hoping an Ulta near me carries the brand!

I've never gotten into Ulta because NYC is filled with Sephora's and as it turns out, has one Ulta in a part of town I rarely go to. I never even knew it was there. Not sure what the advantages of shopping Ulta would be.
