I made a huge order. I was feeling good about it especially since they had free overnight shipping, until now. . . UPS messed it up! I've been waiting all day. Not getting it till Monday. I wrote one complaint letter to Chanel. Now I'm going to write one to UPS. When did they switch to UPS anyway?

Oh that's a bummer!! How did they used to send to you? They've always sent to me via UPS.

I probably have to go to Ebay to try track them down :'(

I did a preorder of Charme at Barney's. It seems sold out elsewhere. I always go for the stylo jeux. So frustrating that you can't get the Cruise collection.

Uh-oh, I love the quad. And that is a rarity because they are usually too warm for me. If that is true to color, I could wear every shade of it. Hey Winthrop-- how about that?

FedEx. Maybe it depends on which warehouse ships it. I know there was one in my state. This package came from out of state. I don't recall where. Yes. A bummer. I'm only annoyed because I was actually home for once and could have received the package and played with the products this weekend. Such a waste of overnight shipping. Plus I had to watch the truck go all over my area. I just don't like that they didn't contact me at all. If I hadn't checked my email this morning and then checked the tracking, I wouldn't have even known. Plus my address looks fine in my order confirmation so I don't know where the error is. I feel like this has happened before with Chanel but I order so infrequently it is hard to recall. I think I will try to call next time I place an order.

I never received anything from chanel that is not shipped by ups. their overnight is amazing because you can track it live . and I love that it comes always before 9am

Welllll....I am all about neutrals these days...blues have never been my thing except really dark ones and sadly greens are not looking as good as they used to...but let us know what you think if you get it!

I picked up a few pieces of the Eyes collection this week. Vert Metal and Ultra Flesh Ombre Premiere creams, Bleu Selene Ombre powder and Bleu Nuit Stylo Ombre et Contour. I ended up liking the SOeC so much that I went back and ordered Electric Brown as well.

Has anyone picked up High Profile 42 Ombre Premiere or the Mystere et Intensite 304 Les 4 Ombres? I'm so curious about this quad but I was told it's not coming to Canada until September :(

My order arrived! I'm pretty sure I used to get stuff from Fedex. I checked my order history but they don't have all my orders on there. It seems I made more orders last year than I thought though. I just got an email from Chanel apologizing for the mix up and offering a partial refund. So nice. I was feeling bad about sending the email. Great CS! I definitely will order again. In fact, I wanted a gloss that I just realized was limited edition and not too many places have it. I think I will order it from them. It means I will have to order more to get free shipping.

At least I was easily able to reach them to complain (comment). I couldn't even do that with UPS. I called Chanel first because I knew how difficult it would be to get through to someone at UPS. Once things went sideways, I decided to just send a complaint email but I just kept getting chat popups. I would close the pop up, type a few more words and it would just pop up again. After a while, I had to give up.

Back to the makeup. Everything looks pretty but I haven't tried anything yet. I was about to go makeup shopping. So . . . to play or not to play and go makeup shopping? Hmmmm . . .

I picked up:

-2 new quads
-Rouqe Noir Et Contour - I had to get this as I love the Rouge Noir pencil but have trouble using it for fear of using it all up. This looks thin though. I thought it was a fat pencil.
-Bleu Selene Ombre Premiere powder
-High Profile Ombre Premiere powder
-Ultra Flesh Ombre Premiere cream
-Vert Metal Ombre Premiere cream

Thanks for mentioning that the pencil is thinner than you thought. I pulled the trigger and ordered the Bleu and the Rouge Noir too— because I have been having the same experience of fear of using up the Rouge Noir pencil.

I've been looking at that quad more closely on the Chanel site because the photo I saw on Instagram made the bronzey shade look like more of a pale pink, which it is not. Given the blue and green in Neapolis, I'm now not feeling I need this. The other quad is beautiful, though not for me, looking forward to seeing swatches and eye looks just for the heck of it. That wine color in particular is gorgeous.
