I went to my local Sephora and they had plenty of the old LaLa still in stock. I bought 2 to have for now. If your store doesn’t have anymore and you want I don’t mind picking some up for you. I know how frustrating it is when you have sensitive skin.
Awww thank you, you're so sweet! I have 2 backups from the rouge sale, so I'm okay for awhile. Thank you again!

I'm going to watch the reviews but I really hate the change and I thought that new moisturizer the Protini was suppose to be what this new Lala formula is for. I don't like the idea of just throwing ingredients into something, a substitute I can understand but I don't see the need to change the Lala formula when there is Protini. Also some people just want a basic moisturizer and nothing more which is why Lala was so popular as it's hard to find moisturizers that don't have a bunch of fillers.

Protini and Lala (new or old) are completely different.

Protini has a boatload of peptides (levels too high for some countries ‘ regulatory authorities) that are meant to stimulate collagen production.

Lala is a basic moisturizer with various oils providing lipids that support the skin barrier. Ceramides are meant to strengthen the skin barrier, which is what Lala was always intended to do...so they are a perfect addition to the formula, not “fillers” at all. Lala is still very basic/bland with no actives, perfect for very sensitive skin.

Ceramides are what the entire CeraVe line is built around. Besides fillers, ceramides are pretty much all that's in Cerave Moisturizing Cream in the tub, and you can’t get much more basic than CeraVe in the tub. The behentrimonium methosulfate in CeraVe breaks me out so I am thrilled to be able to get ceramides in a moisturizer that doesn’t have that crap! Loving the new Lala!

Here is some info from Paula’s Choice

Hope this helps!

Yes I can't use Cerave which is what made me upset with Ceramides being added to Lala. I already know it's not going to work for me, then there are those that are not happy with the new texture and I live in a warm climate so from what's being said, it's more than likely not going to work well under foundation for me.

CeraVe breaks me out and I live in the hot, humid South and the new Lala is working just fine for me. I'm really not sure why you don't want to give it a chance but of course it's your choice -- I just know how hard it is to find new things with sensitive skin and IMO this is not going to change anyone's relationship with Lala unless they just want to break up with it. LOL

I might get a sample at some point before I completely rule it out but it still doesn't change the frustration with loving a product and knowing it's a staple for you, then BAM they change it. Of course not all changes are bad per say but it's still frustrating lol

I hear you. With the gazillion things I’m sensitive to more often than not when something is changed it becomes a problem for me.

Why your skin desperately needs ceramides (possibly more than retinol)

If anyone is on here...has anyone heard whether or not there will be an August Sephora sale like there was last year?

seems like they've just been doing a bunch of random targeted offers in the past few weeks (I never receive them )
At this point, with it being August already I wouldn't be surprised if we'd have to wait until November. I hope I'm wrong.

Ordered a couple of things for my birth month! I got the Milk matte foundation in Porcelain to try out, along with a Bare Minerals Gen Nude lipstick in Tutu (supposedly a close dupe for my long-beloved MAC Feed the Senses). Also picked out an IGK dry shampoo mini as a point perk (the charcoal one, which I'd been wanting to try out anyway), and picked out the Drunk Elephant set for my birthday perk.

Oooh...Birthday Girl! Very nice!

I think the Aug sale last year was to celebrate their rewards restructuring or whatever the heck it was, so I feel it was a one-time thing, but I would love a coupon now. Maybe they'll celebrate the 1 yr anniversary! 😁
I think you're right. I remember I didn't use mine and then they sent me another one in September saying they didn't want me to miss out since I didn't use mine. That was a first.

Ask and ye shall receive! ~ Summer Bonus Sale!

Rouge ~ August 19 - 27 - 20% OFF - SUMMERSAVE

Woop Woop! I'm trying to start incorporating sunscreen in my daily skincare. I'm almost ashamed to say that I never do and I live on an island.... *sigh* But I need something that won't make me greasy, leave a white cast on my brown face or breakdown my makeup. So far, I've been looking at Supergoop Unseen SPF40 and Murad's Oil Control Mattifier. I had a mini of the Murad and didn't even realise it had SPF45 so I'm most likely going to grab the full size in the sale. Any others you ladies recommend?

I don’t have any Sephora sunscreen recommendations, but my favorite brand is Tizo followed by Elta MD
