I'm keeping an open mind about the DE & Sheisedo acquisition. According to what Tiffany from DE posted on Instagram, things (prices, formulations,etc) aren't changing. This could be a great thing for consumers who don't access to DE products today.

Hey I just noticed someone sent me a friends and family code. I got a today is the last day email. I was like what? Where is the first day? I checked when I saw it posted here and didn't see anything. I searched my emails. Oh boy was it buried. Sephora sends a ton of emails and that one did not particularly stand out. But who sent it to me? Was it someone here? If so thanks.

I want all the Tom Ford collection. I picked up 2 items already on a gift card I had. I have a gift card at Nordies so I've been waiting for them to put up the collection or for my store to put it on the floor. They don't have a regular SA so I can't ask them about it. Very frustrating. I was going to go to the boutique tomorrow to chat up my fave SA but now I'm torn. To splurge or not.

I was very fortunate to get a code and placed the most ridiculous order. I got two of the new TF quads...and a lot more that shall remain unnamed. :p
The next day the CT holiday collection launched on the site, so I missed it at 20% off. I'm hoping it stays in stock for the Beauty Insider sale.

I was just thinking I should add that CT quad (this one looked interesting) and was looking to see if the new CT highlighter was there too when I see the site seems to be down or maybe just down for me. I can't seem to log in. I will try later. I also am a little annoyed that I was a bit bored with the look palettes but this new one looks like it may be a good one for me. Why now?

Love it! I went crazy on a viseart haul a few weeks ago and have been meaning to get the Alcone palette but keep changing my mind about going out on Saturday and forgetting they are not open on Sunday. I bought Coy, Milieu and Dark edit in one go. Ooh Zoe Kravitz has a lipstick. I will take a look at that one. Gratuitous, SA gave me that one by mistake but I ended up keeping it. It was a shade missing in my collection so I've been using it quite a bit. I don't think it has anything to do with the blush shade. Missed opportunity there. a milky plum lipgloss shade would have been killer though. ND mini gold palette is fantastic. I saw they were doing demos today at Sephora and having a meet 'n greet with ND. I was thinking of going even though I usually don't do stuff on Saturdays. I signed up but saw that you had to buy a ND product for the Meet and Greet. Makes sense but I have bought all the ND stuff. Was thinking of the new lip products, probably the only thing I don't have, but was checking my confirmation when I saw the 20% off email so all thoughts of that left my head. I didn't even remember about the event until I saw your post. I would have liked to see some of the Metropolis looks. Oh well ND. See ya next time.

I have a $25 Bloomingdales reward but they don't have the TF stuff I want. I guess they sold out of certain things in a flash. Does anyone know when the Nov Sephora sale will be?

Just got my order yesterday, so I haven't had time to test anything in a meaningful way. The balm is TINY, but I knew that going into it. I'm happy with the color but can't speak to the moisturizing aspect b/c I was trying on other products too. In terms of color, the quads are probably unnecessary if you own the others in that formula. I enjoyed the gloss. The smell was more than I expected, but it dissipated quickly.

Ha, yes, the look palette is on my list. I agree with your feelings about the situation.

Definitely agree the Gratuitous gloss should have matched the blush.
Zoe Kravitz has a collection of YSL lipsticks right now. I wish the color hadn't gone weird on me b/c it's a pretty color and the smooth couture formula. I might try to exchange it for a different shade.
