This is a stupid question & I should know this. But, when using a highlighter like a MSF where do you apply it? I used to just put it all over my face & then I realized that it was just too much, so what is the correct way to use them?

I've heard that the Avante Gold MSF look amazing applied with the 182 brush. But, how about with the regular MSF like Shooting Star? Lots of people like to use the 187 for them, but I imagine buffing them into the skin with the 182 would create such a perfect glowy look. Am I right?
